This store was great when it first opened years ago & was packed with customers but now it's a waste of time & effort as the clothes are NOT good quality anymore. I have purchased from Matalan before & some of their items have fallen apart after only a year of the purchase. As a few reviewers have mentioned their service is VERY slow which caused me to be very angry dump my items & walk out as I use a walking stick & cannot stand for so long, also their staff ARE rude, ignorant & lazy causing me to permanently sack this store. The men's choice of clothes?? ???????????????? l think they cater for the women more than anything. I shop at 'Skuds' in the city centre now who cater for men alot more & their clothes ???? not falling apart after only just a year .l will never shop at Matalan again.

You ARE FORCED to self scan your own shopping and they do not give you an option to be served (especially when you have lots items). Do we get staff discounts or paid to self scan ?? No. Staff are rude - Will not be shopping here again

More like a jumble sale. Staff need to be customer service trained. Do they have a cleaner ( it must be Stevie Wonder ) one of the dirtiest shops I’ve been in and very depressing. You will message back my info sent to the store manager. It’s the managers lack of management that the shop is disgusting. You should forward the manager their P45 obviously not up to the job.

They moved the store around which stressed me a bit once I found the gents department having a good look around I noticed that they don't have many choices for the bigger man in the flexi waist band

I went here to look for some holiday clothes, and managed to find two pairs of shorts and vests for me and shirts for my partner. The only drawback was that the changing room wasn't available.

They don't do 3x large trousers sadly ???? but I know they do shirts that fit me

Summer wonderful clothing for the spring now in new styles excellent staff and wonderful prices in the easy brand for men and lots of styles for ladies and children.
