Amazing market to buy and sell pets. From dogs, cats, fish, birds, reptiles, rabbits, to iguanas. All kinds of breeds and pets are available. If you are lucky, you can get a good breed for a bargain. They also come vaccinated and with a passport. There is also a vetrinary onsite to check on the pets.

There are shops that sell all kinds of pet accessories, food, and litter for wholesale price.

Highly recommend that all animal lovers be fascinated.

Visited abu dhabi pets market recently
Contains upto 8-10 shops , quite crowded yet you could walk around and see the birds, fishes. Cameras are allowed and there are trained parrots as well. The cost is from medium to high range .
Everything needed for the beings are also allowed in the same stores.

No animal welfare considerations. Too many of the animals are not properly vaccinated, housed inappropriately, are unhealthy, removed from the parents too early and end up dying.

Where is the welfare? The moral and ethical values ? and overall respect for a living soul?
We are an educated nation so why allow profit from suffering?
Animal welfare is high on the global agenda so let’s make a change for the better.

Always buying there stuff for our cats, prices are way different from the pet shops you may found in town. Also you may find there a great healthy pets and vet and grooming services. Free parking is next to the place. Better go to pavilion, more options there and prices are cheaper then from the shops outside.

Abu Dhabi pet market is a very old market in Mina having many pet shops selling animals, birds, reptiles and fish.
You can get cutie kittens, dogs, iguanas, snakes, lizards, turtles, rabbits, white mice, squirrels and many other animals.
There are beautiful love birds, parrots, cacatua, sparrows, bulbul and many other colourful birds.
You can buy colourful ornamental fish such as gold fish, angel, platy, tiger barbs, rosy barbs, guppies, sharks, oscar, loch, malawi, koi, comet, parrot fish, gourami, discus, flower horn, neon tetra, red eye tetra and many colourful varieties.
You get all accessories such as bird cage, pet toys, pet food, aquarium, filters, heaters, and decoration accessories.

Be very cautious when purchasing live animals especially dogs or cats.
Most vendors insist their animals are vaccinated, but this may not be so. Check, double check, triple check.

A better option is not to buy at all. Several animal hospitals here offer rescues/ fostering of good animal breeds. Check them out too.

The old market has good location but the removed the parking and hope they bring it back as there is no place to park and it is very crowded there.
The animals situation is very miserable and need attention, better ventilation and more guidelines to the shops.
The new market is much better and wider shops but definitely can do better with more guidelines to manage this business.

Trying to track an apparently misdelivered parcel over the phone is impossible - the automated system asked me to read out the Tracking No - but when I do is incapable of recognising the letter N, so I go round in circles getting absolutely nowhere.

People are nice but when you call the number you cannot speak to a human just an irritating robot, regardeless of what option you choose its always the automated thing.
