This castle is beautiful and not very crowded. We were able to tour the castle and explore the gardens leisurely without interruption. The house itself is nicely decorated and holds many historic letters and artifacts. We would definitely recommend this stop if you are in the area

Very impressive castle. Very nice gardens as well. Take some time to come here - it is well worth it. My advice would be to come shortly before closing (minus the time you want to spent). We had the castle and the garden most to ourselves that way. Including a great parking spot and no waiting time.

Amazing gem! Though you can only see 8-10 rooms of this privately owned castle, there is information in each room (in multiple languages), and it can be seen in about 45 minutes at a moderate pace. It had a lovely mix of house and family history - including some info on the present Duke.

The tea room is also great - particularly if you can enjoy one of the outdoor tables in nice weather (it’s really spectacular as next to the castle walls).

Gardens are beautiful and include several photo op stops.

Toilets are just adequate.

The car park is pretty near the entrance which is very convenient as alternative would be to walk the 0.5-0.75 miles each way from town.

Simple stunning. The house/castle, the gardens and the woods. Easy to park and enter. Lovely cafe on site and a well socked gift shop. All the staff are charming and helpful. Free with a blue badge, concessions for children and over 60s. However the prices are great value anyhow. If in the West of Scotland this is a must do.

Huge parking. Very nice stuff. A lot to see there. You can find weapon last used during Culloden Battle. Gardens are fine. You can buy there good cakes and coffee. You will find there also some exhibits connected with Rob Roy.

Excellent country home. Good descriptions of everyone. Great tea and desserts in the tea shop. Plan on an hour, longer if you eat.

Beautiful place lovely castle and gardens. Only lost a star as it says its dog friendly but it's not really. As you are just limited to the tea room with the hounds.

The Inveraray Castle very lovely Castle and gardens plenty to do when you get there in side all the rooms where nice how the other half lived well worth the visit gardens where at their best yeah very nice
