Stayed overnight in kuki lodge. Excellently priced with 2 courses and a drink plus breakfast in the morning included. Excellent for couples wanting a night away or a short break. Really quiet of an evening to just listen to the sound of nature, minimal noise from passing traffic. Every lodge has excellent facilities and a hot tub. 10/10!

Visited on a sunny Friday afternoon to eat from the Summerfeest menu. Excellent value. The food was all good, but the Thai Duck Noodle Broth especially so! Lots of friendly servers, the service was nice and quick. Would thoroughly recommend.

Good prices for relatively good food. Outside atmosphere is nice, indoor especially in the back feels closed off.

Staff managers really need to do their job better. The coordination of their waiters is horrible. You have 4 waiters asking if your food is good in a 5 min time period.

No waiter feels fully responsible for your table cause it seems like they are being assigned everywhere.

Even the manager takes plates while a person is clearly still eating. Rushed, unfocused, uncoordinated, not professional. That’s the impression we had by the service.

Other than that lovely place with much potential!

I attended Whinstone for an educational training event, we were cramped upstairs in their conference room & it was very hot. No air con. But have to say it is a beautiful site, quite a drive to get to in south Middlesbrough, but lovely area and amazing facilities. Dining room area lovely, wonderful food and great service by friendly staff. Would be tempted to return for a Spa weekend.

I would Highly Recommend Whinstone View Log cabins 5Star ,we stayed in the Aspen log cabin,three large Bedrooms ,shower upstairs ,bath downstairs,large dining table with Log Burner in the corner ,everything you needed ,spacious kitchen with dishwasher and latest ovens ,with washing machine ,outside Hot Tub ,like being at home but much Better.and finally it’s Dog Friendly.

We went to the recently renovated Whinstone view. It has changed considerably from the more traditional bistro to a modern contemporary bistro. Lots of seating and space so you didn't feel crowded even when it got busy. My friend wanted a pizza but they weren't available as the pizza open hadn't arrived and it wasn't clear enough for my elderly friend to see on the menu.
The food we ordered was very good but it took its time arriving. We had the same experience at Christmas.

Went to the restaurant for Sunday lunch, was bought for my wife's birthday. Oh my word it was delicious, especially the aero cheesecake. The black sheep ale was one of the nicest pints I have ever had.

Only had scone which was lovely. Music too loud. Outside area great. Inside is now a featureless box. Not a great refurb.
