Ordered some baby clothes to the house, paid for delivery. Received order with dirt on the baby’s clothes. Unhappy with my order. They don’t do postal returns so had to drive to the store which isn’t local. Exchanged the item however they refused to give me any money back for paying for delivery as I had to come to the store for an error on their part. All made the same faces when they saw the amount of dirt on the outfit but didn’t do anything but an exchange. Waste of money paying for delivery and ridiculous policy. Won’t be ordering from Matalan again.

Next day update: Got in touch with CS and they were an absolute delight to deal with. Got a refund and GOGW. Thank you for a better ending to this!!

Very helpful staff member on the returns counter today.
Purchased some lovely childrens clothing and very competitively priced.
A variety of womens summer wear to choose from although i would recommend close scrutiny before purchasing, as some goods very frail and coming apart at the seams . But overall a positive shopping experience.

Lovely shop. Has clothes for everyone. Staff are friendly and happy to help.

I have both shopped in-store and got items delivered to the store. Such an easy process.

Purchased some beach wear items and went to the self service till. We had a discount voucher and didn't know how to scan it, but Fiona came and sorted it out for us, all with a smile. Thank you, brilliant service.

This one is quite a big store and the items are all very well organised. It has got ample spaces to park too. They have started the self check-out which is quite helpful

I like this store. It's not an indoor carboot like Gallagher, but staff can be off ish,

Matalan doesn't really change in how it looks, you can always go in and know where things are, it is a dated store.
The boys section is so small it is pointless visiting these days. We try from time to time and often walk out empty handed. Stock aimed mainly at women and girls.
Staff have always been friendly.

Matalan not the same as before till system doesn't work didn't take of discount had to wait ages for someone to sort it out. Clothes are nice and good prices. priced
