I have been past the site so many times, this time I wanted to see what it was like. The weather was perfect.
The grounds are immaculate. The toilet and cafe the same.
The climb to the top of the tower is not too bad, the view from the top is well worth the climb.
It's just a lovely place to visit.

Loved all the trams and the village, it's good to see that some of the older starting to decay sculptures on the woodland walk are starting to have new additions/replacements. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk up to the memorial tower and the brilliant views. Will definitely visit the attraction again.

Fantastic views over the countryside from up there and you can see Crich Tramway below! The sign at the bottom said the memorial was open but the tower wasn't when we visited on a bank holiday weekend which was a bit dissapointing. However, it's a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the views whilst thinking about all those who are remembered on the various plaques that are spread around the gardens.

Crich Tramway Village is a great place if you are interested in historical places and you can go on an old tramway there is a cafe, restaurant and picnic. It is suitable for wheelchair accessible and kids. There is a free car park and blue police box similar to TARDIS from Doctor who.

Crich Memorial Grounds & Tower are sacred to the Sherwood foresters regiment. The grounds are beautiful & the panoramic views are outstanding well worth a visit .

Great experience, steep slop up to the stand but manageable if you go slowly. Only small charge of 50p to go up tower...well worth the view. Freindy grounds man doing a grand job of making the place look smart. Little track ???? to side of tower that takes you to Crich tram ???? way. But watch your footing on the loose white stones on the slim track ???? to get there.

Such a lovely monument to remember those who have died serving their country. A beautiful place to sit to look at the seven counties that can been seen and think what these brave people gave up so we could be there

Absolutely stunning place to go the views are breathtaking. The memorial is beautiful too.
Needs to stay this breathtaking
With the views across the quarry and not ruined by plans for waterpark this would just be awful for such a beautiful place and surrounding area
