Very popular pub right next to the New Forest. Great for dog walking. We dropped in early evening on a Wednesday hoping for a meal but it was totally booked up so plan ahead if you want to go here! We stayed for a drink which is the least you can do in exchange for a parking spot, although there is public parking just a few yards further down the road.

Lovely country pub with great beers and good food. Big car park. Clean toilets. Lovely decor.

This place is amazing! The manager was so lovely and very friendly. Helped us with everything and even gave us a free flake for our dessert! It's dog friendly which is amazing too. Every staff member had a big smile and was very friendly. We will definitely be returning when we go back to New Forest.

What a gem of a find. The staff were very helpful and also very polite and attentive. The food was amazing and of great quality, and was so dog friendly. ???? I would definitely recommend this eatery well worth a visit. Will definitely be doing back.

Marco was amazingly helpful in planning my mothers wake.

The ambiance in the room was super inviting with the glow of a fire. We tailored the menu and food was perfect. All our guests loved it and it was a wonderful celebration of my mothers life!!

The perfect choice for any event!

We went back for Sunday lunch and again food quality, choice and service was outstanding

Next trip to UK we will certainly be found in this quaint country pub!!

Lovely friendly staff, great food and fabulous location for walks on the common. We've passed the turn so many times but have never been to this spot before, will definitely be returning. We didn't have a dog but it's a lovely dog friendly place too ????

Very pleased with the menu. Very good food at reasonable price. Service was great considering the numbers in our group. Very conveal atmosphere. I am still coming to terms with the price of drinks. Very well presented establishment.

Lovely, quirky pub, great atmosphere and a good selection of drinks. The outside seating areas look neat and tidy and the inside is clean. The staff, especially the manager Stephen is attentive and charming, nothing is too much trouble.
