Fanciful and swank, the focal point of the shopping precinct and bus terminus. Commemorating the ascension of George V in 1911.
Busts of George V, William Morris and Queen Elizabeth II settled in three of the four compass niches.
Typical civic architecture exuding confidence and bravura at the high summer heyday of Empire.
A melee of exuberant and rowdy schoolchildren best avoided at the late afternoon rush.

Plenty of shops including TK MAX, Primark and JD Sports. Good choice of eating places including The Furze, Costa, Pizza Hut and Nandos.
A lovely big Asda, plenty of pubs and nightlife, also a Big Bowling Alley, and further down is a Swimming pool and Leisure centre.
Not a huge centre, but plenty for a day out with a good browse and lunch thrown in.

Was a great place for everyone, easily accessible for prams, wheel chairs. restaurant was a bit overpriced but very tasty. Would go back as soon as all repairs and refurbishments are done. Gift shop prices are responsible.

Bexleyheath Clock Tower ???? is one of the most significant historic landmarks within the London Borough of Bexley. This fine preserved clock tower is situated at the heart of Bexleyheath Broadway shopping centre. Also the Clock Tower stands adjacent to a busy bus terminus which serves at least fifteen routes. The Clock Tower was built in the 20th C. to commemorate the coronation of King George V on 17th July 1912. Bexley Urban district Council commissioned Walter Maxted Epps to design a clock tower in Bexleyheath Town centre to officially celebrate the Royal occasion. Bexleyheath Clock Tower and Bexleyheath Broadway Shopping centre are annually decorated with a fine display of lights at Christmas and festive season. I love the display each year, a varied display of Christmas and neon lights combined around the centre. ????????????????

Just a lively and lovely town center. Very busy. Dont go there when school time is over. Too many kids???? and most of them dont behave nicely .

Dirty area, often covered with vomit from weekend... never cleaned... Surrounding bus stops filthy, road sweeper goes up and down but should be doing a bit more. Bexleyheath at its finest. Do your self a favour and don't bother visiting...

Just a clocktower in the middle of a shopping centre but it is very attractive and gives the area a nice character. There used to be a lovely fountain adjacent to it but unfortunately the council devised to switch it off.

I disembarked the bus at the Clock tower. There was a personal argument taking place between 2 women that could have been heard miles away by the way they were screaming at eachother. Other crowds of people looked & spoke like they had come directly from the Slums. I felt uneasy about my personal safety in this area.
