Super little museum in the centre of Burford, above the old market place. Its stone pillars & Tudor style above make it particularly attractive. The museum, in the old assembly hall upstairs, is small but packed with old memorabilia from bygone Burford days. Worth a visit, free but only open afternoons

It was interesting. Heroes from the town.

Small but well cared for with some interesting pieces. The museum is free to enter with the ask for donations (no pressure is put on you). It was very calm and enjoyable to learn some facts about the area. You can visit in 10-15 minutes so I recommend to go and have a little look.

Small, two rooms museum, but definitely worth the visit.

A very informative museum with nice friendly staff that is free of charge to enter in this beautiful area within the Cotswolds.

Not open. We tried two time to visit. Don't waste you time. Yes... after 2 pm.... Local chemist stated it was closed indefinitely. Welcome to Burford!

Regrettably when we visited during the early afternoon the museum was closed as the curator was away for four weeks according to note on the door. It is a pity that their website cannot include opening hours. Otherwise from Trip Advisor reviews which is obviously worth a visit.
