Had an AWESOME day, even tho the weather wasn't great. A really well run even in a great location. Loved the pipe bands. Stayed all day to watch everything!

As a tourist, the Highland games were quite interesting, offering a variety of sport competitions, from relay races (all ages) to hammer throwing and tug-of-war. There are also competitive bagpipes playing from the region and traditional dancing. Cost of entry was £8 per adult person and £2 parking.

Scottish culture at its best! You will be entertained all day with various sporting events. Every second Saturday of September.

I love Pitlochry....We try to go to as often as we can, so we thought we to the highland games( hit two bird with one stone :-) it was well organised loads of stalls all are reasonably priced. Plenty of places to park aswell. Would recommend, for doing something different.

The 5th of November celebration was memorable! One of the best fireworks displays I have seen this decade! The pitch was a little damp and signage for the event could have been better, but the experience was excellent.

Just the best time, great atmosphere and weather, great local stalls and produce, the mass band's amazing , and new record broken in the hammer throwing, first class parking and what more can I say, we had a ball

It was amazing. Would have been even better if I'd turned up on the correct weekend. Note :Google asked me for a review on August the 2nd. More than a month before the games.
