I pulled this accommodation out of thin air. Everyone was full but they kept giving me numbers for other properties to try. Landed on Keel Lodges and what a little gem. Didn’t know anything about the area but it turned out to be one of our favourite stops. A small village right on the water with cute shops a great little art store and some good food. Our room was beautiful, clean and had a great little deck and picnic table out front. The operator of the rooms was lovely we had a good chat around the property. Lots of flowers, just really pretty. You can tell they put in lots of effort. If I lived in the UK I would be back in a flash. Great place for a weekend away

Very convenient accommodation for Whitby. Lovely and quiet and rooms are surprisingly big and up to date and both the accommodation and land kept clean. Lovely little touches added as well. And Sarah and Charlotte are both very friendly, easy to speak to, and it's obvious they both care about the business and their guests, very accommodating.

Currently on holiday in Staithes, and staying in 'Spinnaker Lodge'. Unfortunately, we had to cancel 2 days of the holiday due to a member of our party becoming injured last week.

Sarah (the owner) was extremely understanding of this it was a pity we were not able to meet her on our arrival as it is always lovely to put picture to face.

The triple choc chip cookies from the local CO-OP store as well as the flower bouquet on the table were a lovely surprise upon arrival.

The lodge itself is nice and spacious and the scenary is beautiful. The only slight niggle is that there was no cheese grater which made Tuesday nights pasta recipie a tad tricky but this wasn't too much of an issue and something that could very easily be rectified.

Would certainly visit again if in the area ???? xx

Stayed at
bosun's rest with my elderly parents last week.
What a gem of a place.
Very clean , comfortable and warm.
Has carparking which is added bonus.
Lovely and quiet location.
Not far to walk to harbour.
Would recommend Dotty's tearooms.
Sarah very helpful nothing too much trouble.

Loved it that much have booked for spinnaker with my husband and dogs .
Would definitely recommend.

Great basic accomodation if you are with a big group, beware that you'll need £1 coins for the electricity meter in the Captains Quarters. The owners left us with 1 roll of very loosely rolled loo roll which was good for about 4 downloads. So definitely bring that with you the deco is straight from the 70s, but it's clean and tidy

Really enjoyed our stay at coble cottage nice and cosy.Great for walks with our little dog.Was lovely touch flowers, biscuits and milk when we arrived thankyou Sarah.We will be back and recommend to friends and family.

Nice rooms, pretty good close enough to the harbour you can walk down. Very spacious and includes everything you would want.

Another lovely comfortable family holiday. Lots of space to spread out, well equipped with all you need. Great location at top of village with parking included. Extremely helpful staff support, if needed. Quiet location with choice of secure outdoor seating. Highly recommend for family groups.
