I stayed in the castle with a group of friends for a long weekend. It was gorgeous - the castle is much bigger than I was expecting and very spacious despite some rooms / turrets being out of bounds. The team at Dalnaglar were very helpful and responsive. We booked 10 castle rooms, but one of them became unavailable at the last minute so we were given a room in the lovely Tower Cottage. We loved the fireplaces in the library and drawing room, and the large dining room. The loch on the estate is beautiful, and there's so much walking to do right on your doorstep without needing to get in a car.

Spacious clean and tidy with a goodsize hot tub. Great location if you like peace and quiet. Handy for Glenshee skiing and touring the Cairngorns. Just a tip take some warm pyjamas, the heating goes off at night

Such a beautiful place with stunning cottages. We got the weather and it was the perfect staycation with the girls

Just returned from a 3 day break in this wonderful location, scenery fantastic, great walks, lots of wildlife to see, cottages are very well equipped with all you need, large screen sky TV and WiFi entertainment, most cottages have a hot tub. We will return for seconds.

Just back from a fantastic weekend in Easter Caiplich at Dalnaglar estate. The cottage was lovely, very spacious, clean, nicely decorated & well equipped. The scenery was beautiful & we enjoyed exploring the surrounding hills and river area spotting lots of wild life too. For the children (and dog) the huge, completely enclosed garden was ideal and it was lovely in an evening to relax in the hot tub or enjoy a glass of wine at the seating area overlooking the picturesque duck pond. Would highly recommend this place!
