Had a fabulous meal here this evening. Food was all homemade and plentiful, in fact the portions were massive (no complaints here). Menu was varied and very reasonably priced, especially when we saw the plate sizes.
They also do a takeout Sunday lunch, which is a genius idea????
Landlady was lovely & friendly, chatty and extremely helpful. Overall we were really impressed & will certainly be returning.

AVOID IF YOU ARENT WHITE/ DONT LIKE RACISM We went as a family of 5 to this pub as we were holidaying in wales . We were shocked and disgusted and the experience we faced here. When we entered the staff simply glared at us up and down, didn’t seat us and when we did sit down just stared at us and didn’t come to take our order despite the fact that the place was COMPLETELY EMPTY . This was undoubtedly due to the colour of our skin , as when a white customer came in after us the attitude towards them was completely different ( they were greeted , seated and given menus). We asked if we could eat and the staff responded ‘ if you want’ and didn’t even give us a menu . After several minutes we were very upset at the obvious contempt the staff held towards us and we left . My kids were very upset and I am truly appalled at this shocking restaurant . Avoid

Happened by chance on this lovely pub.

They were hosting a work do, but were very accommodating and able to turn around home made food within 15 minutes.

The food was amazing, had the battered chicken burger.

Will definitely be my first stop when in Pembroke!

The carvery is lovely. The meat was thickly cut and plenty of it.. so much so I had to get a take away box as I couldn't eat it all.

Went for Sunday lunch here for the first time
Good choice of meats and fresh vegetables and the portions were big.
Will Definately be back again, thanks

Came in with my mother, wife and kids and we had a great meal. Lovley freindly staff and attentive. Had some issues with stock but we were kept in the loop and were looked after. Also great food. Far from disappointed. Varry impressed with the beetroot pie.

Very good restaurant with a good choice of dishes at a reasonable price. Would advise booking a table at peak times as it seems popular. There is adequate parking alongside the road outside. The inn is situated by the waterside on the corner of a long stretch of terraced houses. The staff are good and the atmosphere is relaxed, seafood is sourced locally and good quality. Be warned they don't skimp on portion sizes ???? As it is all on the level wheelchair access should be fine.

We went for a Mothers day roast and it was absolutely delicious, and lots of it. My eyes were bigger than my belly ????
