The place is good, it has a classic feeling. The design of the restaurant is nice. Food is good, though not as per my expectations. The food quantity is also big, but it’s little bit expensive. Minimum amount that you have to spend for one order of meal around 75dhs. Overall, it’s nice.

Great historic decorations and good calming atmosphere, I like that the lights aren't harsh and there are private dining rooms available. Only had karak here but will be back to try the amazing-looking food.

Al Fanar Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience authentic Emirati cuisine. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by a spacious dining room with private rooms and outdoor seating. The centerpiece of the room is a large tree that adds a touch of nature to the otherwise elegant decor.

We had the pleasure of dining at Al Fanar during Ramadan and opted for the four-course Iftar meal. The lamb biryani and chicken machboos were the stars of the show, but the salad and chicken/lentil soups were equally delicious. The portions were generous, and we left feeling completely satisfied.

What sets Al Fanar apart from other restaurants is its commitment to preserving Emirati culture and cuisine. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their food, and they go above and beyond to make sure their guests have an unforgettable experience. Ahmed helped us pick the very best dishes and drinks that gave us the most comprehensive taste of Al Ain and Emerati culture.

Found it casually and totally love it. It is a beautiful and very traditional Emirati place with delicious food and excellent service, especially by Vipul, a very helpful and friendly guy. I tried the Deyay Nashef, portions are significant, and prices are fair. Moreover, the place is full of old pictures of old Dubai and the Emirates. I highly recommend this place.

Food is great and has an authentic Emirati taste, very good value for money. But your staff... Your, I guess, manager Bipul immediately after you start eating with your hands starts talking to you in his native Hindi and expects you ( a foreigner, husband South Indian ) to cater to him and speak in Hindi with him, doesn't care if you want or don't want to speak in the aforementioned language ( you wear kurta or you are brown in complexion, Bipul will automatically assume that you speak Hindi ). At the end, even after being displeased with his behaviour he forces you to scan the QR and give him a good rating... Which thankfully you are able to escape. Please, treat your customers equally, brown or white, Indian or other nationality. This behaviour unfortunately destroys the full experience. Another person there more arrogant is one middle aged Arab waiter who distributes the cutlery. The only polite and forthcoming person is one young, I assume, Emirati boy who tries to come forward and serve you properly.

Love the ambience traditional Emirati culture. Food is good but less quantity one dish for one person only. Good experience
