Food DELICIOUS perfectly cooked with excellent quality products. Very friendly, helpful staff. I only have one problem:- I was too busy thinking about picking up my Grandson I forgot to leave a tip. Sorry. I'll make it up to you next time ????

Sadly getting worse every time we go which is a real shame, poor baby faces running the place are adorably clueless and apologetic but the food doesn’t cost any less
Last time we split a sharing nacho platter and had only 6 nachos in it!
Then my husband’s Sunday roast had the smallest excuse for potatoes you can imagine
I ordered the steak off the GF menu which meant it came with a jacket potato instead of chips, this was ignored and I was served not only chips but very gluten covered onion rings, if you question the poor waiters to explain you are only met with “I’ll check that for you”
Understandably your typical pub grub place but it used to be worth the money however now not, I paid £25 for the saddest steak and “sauce “

I must say. I've had a number of great meals there. But lately. No. Asked for a medium rare steak. It was well done. Showed the server. She didn't seem surprised at our complaint.

Beautiful building, loads of character. Friendly attentive staff. Clean & tidy.
Food was perfect!
Waitress was Mia & chef was Tom.
Shout out to both of them for their friendly, attentive, professional attitude.
Bar staff were happy & smiling with eye contact, to me that makes me feel welcome, well done to the whole team!

Our second time here for lunch. The food is delicious and very fresh. Very friendly staff. A lovely garden for dogs to run around in. Highly recommended as excellent value for money. We will be back again

Family of four with three generations...came without a reservations, two of their steak and ale pies, a rump steak and gammon steak.

All can say, the pie is the best I have had in many years, the atmosphere is charming and cosy, great beer garden out back.

Service from welcome, to service, to speed of hot dinners and cold drinks were excellent

All staff were friendly and courteous, from tge initial welcome to wishing us a good night.

Very well done to all the team, front house, bar staff and chefs, an excellent symphony ....thankyou for a very enjoyable evening with the family.

Friendly pub with a good sized garden. Food did taste good and some of the best chips I have had for a while. Only criticism is the lunch menu was a bit limited.

We visited last night, didn't appear to be too busy. Firstly told there was no dining seats outside on the patio (apparently due to health and safety you cannot dine on the bench seats, like you are able to in many other pubs) We were asked to have a drink first and come back and enquire about food 30 minutes later as they had a large party just arrived. We headed outside and there was plenty of patio tables available! In fact only 3 tables were in use. The large party was a birthday celebration inside of about 5/6 people.
The staff were friendly if not little confusing.
The food was very nice the roast was one of the best my other half had eaten in a pub so this was the saving grace.
