Its a very small restaurant, but totally worth a visit. The food is delicious, the price is fair, the staff was nice.

The food is slightly better than okay. Its good but not wow. But its still a good place to order traditional seafood dishes. Sometimes the order takes way too long to arrive so dont go if youre hangry. The portions are big and the food and place is clean. Its a small place so its good for eat and go, or takeaway.

I'm not quite sure why there are so many negative comments. Download the app, set up your card and it was all very easy. You can only purchase 24 hour periods as this is a car park operated by APCOA but owned by GWR so its meant for train user to leave whilst away. Daily rate is good IMO. Don't park here if you want short stay either park on the road adjacent (this is the Ringo meter) or at another car park in town. If you are staying for more than a day make sure you buy all your days on day one, after that you can only purchase successive 24 hour extension periods and the rate goes up each time, that's not explained. Plenty of spaces too.

Got here around 7pm and was told earlier in the day that after 6pm most places are free until 9am. I had stopped in the road and read that on a pay machine which looks like it is part of the car park. Got up at 8 am to pay for next day (Sat) which was £8.80. Really confused to see it said 24 hour parking but couldn’t find anything about tariffs - until I came back next day. On the street pay machine there is a small red sticker on the back saying it’s not for the big car park (but you can’t see that in the dark!). Tried to contact them. Offices closed Sunday. Tried the Forgot Payment or whatever it’s called. Only goes back a day or something. Also the card reader is very flaky. Chap took 5 or 6 goes for it to work. Another older guy with no smart phone or contactless thought he paid. I told him he should have a printed pay and display ticket. I think they are geared up to catch people out.

The new ANPR system with the parking ticket machine don't work properly as the network failed when I paid for parking. Even though I paid for the parking I was fined £50. Save your money and park elsewhere as APCOA are after a quick buck by providing faulty equipment.

Absolute crooks, AVOID!!!
arrived late Thursday 7PM departed before 9AM Friday outside charging hours FIFTY POUND FINE.
Too much hassle to challenge. Will never ever go there again.
Typical rip off Britain, will the government regulate these crooks? No way.

Rubbish system that doesn't work. APCOA is supposed to save time and save money but it does neither. You run the risk of missing your train so arrive early and leave time to spare to faff around with paying for your car parking space so you don't get a fine.

We paid up front for our parking on the APCOA site, received a £100 fine which we instantly responded to with receipt of payment. Had to wait a month for the response for it to be corrected and this was it. Called them numerous times and was assured it would be looked at that day.

“Considering the circumstances” - which were that we paid...

“Cancelled the parking charge notice on this occasion” - Surely every occasion when you’ve paid!

A “sorry we were wrong” is all we wanted. Somehow this is worded like they’ve done us a favour.

Wanted parking to eat at Karma Rest. Located outside restaurant. £4.50 for 3 hrs. No option for less than 3hrs. Have to pay on phone or call phone number. No machine to pay with coins. Convenient.

When parking using APCOA one has to text the reg of your car to a premium rate number, this has to be wrong ! Suggest one finds an alternative to APCOA where possible
