Fantastic little whisky shop. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, loads of good indi stuff and very well priced. I particularly liked how they keep stuff for the shelves and don’t just put it all online so it’s always worth a visit

I have had several very enjoyable visits to the Whisky Box in Dunkeld making the odd purchase. Will and Alan are very knowledgeable and always happy to chat and make recommendations. I was in two weeks ago for a looksee and chat when Will told me of a 12yo special Ardmore he had in stock. This wouldn't have been my first choice but it was up there with the very best I have tried. I returned yesterday and bought a bottle. These guys are very good and very welcoming. Anyone who enjoys a whisky or would like to learn a bit more about it should drop in if they are in the area.

Came with my boyfriend to get a whisky recommendation as a gift for my dad the whisky lover.

The seller asked us about what his usual preferences were and although I don't think I gave him much to work with he ended up recommending us some bottles. The one we ended up taking home and gifting has become the all time favourite whisky he's ever drunk!

Seems like next time I come to Scotland I will need to bring him along so he can experience this pleasant shop himself!

What a fantastic shop. A great selection of whiskeys and other spirits. Best of all a highly knowledgeable and friendly host. I can't recommend the shop highly enough

Excellent little shop in Dunkeld! The owner was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Bought a couple of craft gins to take home with me. Great selection of whiskey as well.

Bought a bottle of Glenfracas whisky online, it was the cheapest I could find online without compromising the product, it arrived promptly and was in perfect condition ????????????

Very friendly , knowledgeable and humble whisky seller at the counter.

It was my first time to Scotland, our tour bus halted in this area for sometime and this shop spotted my eye. I had been planning on picking up something unique, easy to drink, local, a hidden gem kind of a scotch back with me to India.

Based on my limited experience and preferences I shared, the guy at the counter willingly had me try out some of the drams and finally recommended Glencadam 10 yrs highland scotch whisky to us.
I completely went by his reco and yes, was very happy to have my trust rewarded.. the whisky was oh so good.

Loved the taste, flavours and smoothness. It was everything I was looking for and hats off to the seller for this gem of a recommendation. I had it with a bunch of close friends and we all loved it, so thanks a lot fella!

I would recommend anyone to go try this shop out and have a conversation with him on whiskies and shop there.

I had a great time having a whisky tasting had 3 which were delicious and went on a little journey from single grain to smokey and bold. Great knowledgeable chap who definitely knows his stuff and will advise on taste, texture of course provinonce and history of the whiskey your tasting, buying is for all budgets with bottle's starting at affordable prices plus a fantastic array of small batch whisky from local suppliers which you wont normally see elsewhere. Highly recommended you call in and spare an hour for a whisky tasting that will definitely inspire the taste buds and help with the walk back to the hotel as it did mine.
