Lovely late end of week meal. Lovely food and atmosphere.
Not far from the canal.
Easy access bar. Able to order food and drink outside.
Was lucky with the parking, usually quite packed.
Lovely old style country pub on the canal.
Was bringing food out to the green on the canal.
Pre Covid would only deliver to the patio tables outside overly beams pub with open fireplaces.

Excellent food. Great choice of Pies including gluten free. Friendly staff and a good playground for young children. Definitely would recommend and would come again

Lovely large pub in a quiet village. Canal side. Good welcome lovely roaring fires plenty of room we had booked a table. Great service and food was excellent. Dog friendly

Excellent selection of various pies plus all the other pub grub items you’d expect in a country pub. Lovely walk along the canal towpath

Lovely Bank Holiday Monday meal sitting next to the canal. The food was excellent despite it being very busy. Great location. Went for a walk along the canal.

This is an amazing place to come for business, a date or even with family. Private enough for a business luncheon. Public enough for a date. Good for mommy and daddy and the kids and the dog and the neighbour's cat. The waiters were polite and sadly there are no alternatives (for us who don't eat pork). So they can take out the bacon but won't replace with egg or mushrooms or beans. I found it sad for a 5 star place.

Tip, get a starter. I know we all want to dive into the drinks and meal. Just a starter you can even share it and you will be proud of yourself for the rest of the year. At least you will have an out of home experience with a life time.

A beautiful inn next to the canal with plentiful parking. A nice play area away from the canal and even a set of small football goals to keep the kids busy.

Staff were great and on the ball with allergens. The food came promptly and the portions were balanced.

Lovely venue for a Sunday lunch. Have been several times. My favourite time of year to go is winter when there are roaring wood fires to create a really cosy atmosphere. The food, ambiance and staff have always been great.
