We honestly cannot thank you all enough, from the respectful way you took our father from his home into your care to taking him on his last journey past his local pub. Everything was conducted with true kindness and compassion. Our dad lived a simple life with no thrills but you all helped us giving him a beautiful send off. We were also extremely moved with the little candle that was left in his memory. It’s the small details that made it so lovely. Thank you to all involved ????????????

I unfortunately have used the services of Anderson Maguire Funeral Directors in Thornliebank 3 times!
Most recently due to the death of my brother!
Every time I have been met with care and compassion, nothing was too much trouble, they truly give your loved ones the send off that they deserve! My brother was treated with the utmost care and I was kept informed all the way along! I felt peace in knowing he was looked after with care, respect and dignity, and that meant the world to us! Even after the funeral had taken place Liz and Julie checked in to ensure everything went to plan and again just good people showing that they care in the hardest times of your life it means a lot!
I trust them and I wouldn’t use anyone else to look after a loved one who had passed.

The level of service received from the initial phone call to the final minute detail and all things in between was exceptional. Two staff members in particular, Julie and Liz, gave great advice and guidance on all aspects of funeral planning and I found it especially comforting that the strain of organising matters was lifted from my shoulders. I couldn't have asked for two better people to have acted on my behalf. The dignity and respect shown by all Anderson Maguire staff to the deceased and my family was greatly appreciated.

Very happy with all aspects of the funeral arrangements and organisation.
Very professional, easy to work with, regular updates.
They were sensitive to our needs.
Special mention to Julie at Thornliebank, she made the whole process from start to finish straightforward, nothing was too much trouble, she genuinely cared, had a lovely nature, and managed to strike the right balance between being professional yet being very caring and sensitive.

I have nothing but praise and appreciation to all at Anderson McGuire, especially Liz who works at the Thornliebank branch. She made what was a very sad time that little bit easier, giving her professional advice but with a caring personal touch. Also the undertakers on the day of mum's funeral were so supportive. I shall be forever grateful to you all.
