Absolutely the very best grocers you can find! Staff are fantastic and friendly, the fruit and veg is always fantastic quality & lots of other grocery bits to hand, too.
It's a joy to go in and shop there, it really is.

Superb shop! Always very well stocked with great quality produce and some more unusual items too! All the staff are so friendly and only too happy to help. A real gem in Penarth.

Fruit and veg in the centre of Penarth.

Good selection and good quality at a reasonable price. There are lots of seasonal items here and often things like green gages, victoria plumbs and the like.

I often find that the produce (soft fruit etc.) is more flavoursome than equivalent supermarket produce.

I decided to support local businesses rather than supermarkets. The quality of produce here matched my regular supermarket and although the prices were slightly higher I was more than happy to pay the difference. I am not however prepared to pay a surcharge for using my card on top of the £12 that I was going to pay for goods. I probably use cash no more than a couple of times a month, I virtually always use either a debit or a credit card. I usually spend £15 to £20 a week on fruit ang veg. but I’m afraid that this will now continue to swell supermarket profits. I wonder if the additional card payment fee exceeds the lost business. Come on catch up.

Just the sort of friendly store that we all need to support. Lots of great fresh seasonal fruit and veg. and eggs the size of planets! I'm not sure whether hens go cross-eyed but no wonder they strut!
