From the moment we arrived, I was struck by how clean and well-maintained everything was.
Despite being in the middle of the desert, the place was impeccably clean, which was really impressive.
The Arabian decorations were also a standout feature for me.
Everywhere I looked, there were beautiful patterns and designs that added to the ambiance of the place.
The attention to detail was incredible, and it really felt like I was transported to another world.

A heavy brick-and-mortar architecture (inevitable in so hot locations), offers a large & nice swimming pool among palm trees and cabanas.
In summertime there is one restaurant open (Terra Secca, Italian) with a nice, warm ambience but unreasonably pricey for the value it offers.
Also offers an archery area along with all the usual amenities of 5-star hotels.

When you walk in the resort you feel like in Arabian fairytale, just waiting for Aladdin to show up. This hotel gives me vibes of Bab Al Shams, just the location is way better for someone living in Abu Dhabi, only 30-40minutes drive. It is a perfect getaway for a night or two.
The staff is amazing, pool is gorgeous and the Terra Secca restaurant serves delicious breakfast and dinner, Italian style, in the evenings. I like that you get a menu for breakfast and you order whatever you like and it is all freshly made just for you, no buffet hence no wasted food. Khin was looking after us, ensuring we have everything we need.
The room was beautiful with massive bath tub and super comfy bed. Also, we had some little treats prepared for us in the room when we arrived.
I did not expect such a great experience and service. I will definitely be coming back to this little desert hidden gem.

The staff at Al Wathba Hotel and Resorts welcomed us with open arms ..I can't say enough good things about Miss Shivani, in particular, deserves a special mention. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Her pleasant demeanour, helpful nature, and proactive attitude were truly commendable. I was touched when she remembered our fondness for masala tea the next day and personally checked if we needed another serving. It's the small gestures like these that make a huge difference. We made an instant connection with her.
And let me tell you about the breakfast—it was out of this world! There was an incredible variety of delicious dishes that catered to every palate. The dining area had such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home.
But the real magic happened when we ventured out into the surrounding desert. The vast expanse of sand and the peaceful ambiance were simply mesmerizing. We had the most incredible experience trying archery for the first time—it was a thrill! The staff members who guided us were so friendly and made sure we had an unforgettable time. And to top it all off, we had the chance to pet and spend time with the horses and camels. The caretakers were so kind and treated us like old friends.
Al Wathba Hotel and Resorts truly exceeded all of my expectations. It was a magical escape that touched my heart and soul. I'm already dreaming of my next visit to this delightful oasis in the desert. I wholeheartedly recommend Al Wathba Hotel and Resorts to anyone seeking a warm and memorable getaway.
