Not worth it. Nothing like these blue color photos. If you are passing by the area may be, but definitely not worth driving that long (and u need a 4X4 to drive after the main road leading to this area) just to see a lake which has crystalized salt! That's it! Just the hype! I don't know if weather plays a part. So, the photos were taken in September 2022. It wasn't too cold or too hot.

We were bit late to reach this place you have to go through small off road track which was fine for even sedan car. Salt lake doesn't look like typical blue colour lake may most of the water got dried. Some people were doing barbecue and camping as well there but it was dark.

Very hot weather. Lake water was not that warm tho. Spend like less than half an hour here !

The Salt Lake falls short of expectations as it seems neglected and NOT as advertised online.
Despite the initial allure, the lack of maintenance and care diminishes the overall experience. It's unfortunate that the reality does not align with the promotional material. Visitors may find it disappointing and may need to manage their expectations when planning a visit. I rate 3 stars for being a real natural aspect.

Interesting place, only very sad that its full of plastic garbage. An Gouvernement actions are needed to get this place clean! The salt ist extremely salty ????An sport car is not a good choice to drive around there, anyway my mustang made it flawlessly.

This place was one of the hidden gems in UAE that you must visit! ????????✨ It was soooo AMAZING!! - This place is located in ????Al Wathba Salt Lake, Abu Dhabi - and - Yes, it’s hard to find the exact location in google map, but dude! When you see it! You could only say “WOW! Ang Gaaandaaa!! Promise!! And I want to go back!!!!!

A very dry place. Very less crowd. Their is a slat lake plus desert ????. A great place for get together. No proper roads and lights so have to well prepared while we are there

When we visited, we found nothing but ramal and salt. As you can see in my video.
Another Long Salt Lake view to see.
We didn't go there due to short time.
