Great flight centre. We went for a Virgin Experience gift 30-min flying lesson. The staff were friendly and professional, and we really enjoyed the morning. Lovely cafe with outside seating, where you can watch the planes take off. Dogs allowed too, so even better.

A great place to learn to fly. A great instructor who will provide many valuable tips during the one-hour flight. Very helpful and polite ladies at the reception. I love this place. I will definitely come back.

Place to go in Essex for flying lessons and aeroplane watching. Friendly instructors, the lesson cost us £80 which was good value for the money.

There is an onsite café and a bar and free parking for visitors.

I've been coming back and forth to this place for longer than I can remember.
There's something tranquil about the place, a strange old fashioned calm !!!.

It's fascinating watching these small planes travel along the runaway at speed of a car cruising along, then takes off effortlessly.

I went up years ago in a Focker took off at about 80 MPH, frightening, you feel there's nothing supporting you and the turbulence, wow!!!!,...those Fockers.

I don't have any other flight centres to compare this to but for a quick visit with our toddler it was good. We must've seen 10 aircraft taking off. Unfortunately, due to the covid situation, we aren't too keen on staying at places with people for a long time so we were only there for 20 minutes. Outside in the 'garden' area of the cafe, it would have been good to try some grub but we didn't so can't comment on that or the service. Of the public that were there, everyone seemed friendly.

Enjoyed a 30 minute flying experience yesterday. Plane was small and tight but flight was good and instructor was good too. Scenic view of essex countryside was an added bonus.
Clubhouse had not much to offer at 3pm unfortunately. We got cold samosas...take a packed lunch just in case.
