I took my car yesterday for service and had a bad customer service experience, hence the 1 star. Admittedly, this is the first time I had bad service at this location, although this is regularly the case at BMW Mussafah. My appointment was for 8:30am but arrived well ahead of time, at 8:10am, as I had other commitments at 9am. I had to wait for 15 mins before I could see the service engineer, who told me that my car would be ready around 4-4:30pm. It is worth noting that my service requirements were minimal, ie., replace front break pads and the sealing rubber at the driver door. Typically, part of the BMW service is to book a taxi for customers. Waited for 20 mins and when I asked the lady at the reception, I was told that there were no taxis and she did not know how long it would be. I ordered a cab through Careem which arrived in 4 mins. One would think that since customers book their service in advance, customer service employees would plan in advance to organize the booking of taxis in an effort to deliver excellent customer service. This is clearly not the case with this customer service, they are simply there to say sorry when they fail to provide good service. During the day, there was no update on the progress of service and as I had evening arrangements, I left work (whilst in online meetings) at 4:10pm to pick up the car. 5 mins into my journey, the service engineer called me saying that they finished the break pads (which literally takes 15 mins to replace), but need another hour for replacing (rather than repairing) the rubber. I explained that I was on my way to their service center and would need the car by 5pm as I had commitments. Cutting the long story short, there were further delays. I wonder why when a company offers a great product, eg., BMW, and provide a great service package (eg., 6 years free service) to justify the expensive price tag, they do not aspire to delivering excellent customer service. It simply takes a bit of planning/organization, the right attitude and training. Ultimately, business grows with the reputation of a company.

If reaching here on foot from Perth Railway/Bus station do not follow Google maps all the way.

Please walk till Branklyn Garden then look for signs to climb till the tower. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the summit followed by 5 minutes to reach the tower.

Photos in the post will help start the trail. Once in it should be easy to follow.

Best visited during summer when it's not raining.

Batnhill cliff trail is very difficult, no signs after entering, paths are almost 90 degrees dirt path climb! None like it in UK. Trees are full of characters.

Superb vantage point and an easy walk from a car park. Great views of the river Tay and the city of Perth.

For those able, the walk up from the hill through the trees is great. Varied planting of mixed trees including many beech, birch and various pines. The tower itself is not much to look at but a wander around the hill, taking in views all around of the Tay, the countryside and of Perth, is excellent. No bad photos are ever taken up the hill!

Great place to go metal detecting
Haven’t found the 3 caves yet
Found lots of treasure around the hill silver & copper coins and some gold
Lots of blank bullets in groups ww11 army practice, found a riffle bayonet with sheath.
Lots of stones with agate gemstones still to be found.
