Very peaceful church with beautiful inside carving and stone work. Also has an outdoor space for teas and light refreshments with views across the harbour.

St. Ia's is a lovely little Anglican-Catholic parish church in the heart of St. Ives and worth a short visit. The inside I wouldn't call spectacular, but it has a warm atmosphere to it, and the café will offer you prices that compare favourably to the coffee joints in the neighbourhood. The extremely welcoming volunteers will inform you about the history of the church and St. Ives.

"High" church, quite plain inside but look up at the roof and admire the decoration. Lovely organ and free recitals.

Visited this place to watch Cornish comedian Johnny Cowling for the September St Ives festival. He was fab and Rick Stein was in the audience and he got him up onto stage to do Combine Harvester. I even managed to get a pic taken with both of them. Great night.

6 Aug'21. Very friendly Vicar had been giving a small service, moments before. Came up 4 a chat & told us about various points of interest in this beautiful Church. He kindly offered us some Birthday Cake, as this day was his Birthday & he had a little celebration with his Parishioners. Such a kindly gesture. Thank u. The Church has many beautiful Wood carved Pews, painted Ceiling Bosses, an Embroidery by famous Textile Artist, beautiful Stained Glass Windows, hand painted Altar screen & more. Very friendly feel in this pretty Church.

Charming historic parish church close to the harbour in St Ives. No parking except for the general town car parks which are extremely busy during the holiday season.
Well worth using the guide leaflet to point out the many interesting features in the church that might otherwise be overlooked. No toilets.

Really impressed with the cafe in here. Needed a place to shelter from the rain, the kids to eat their picnic lunch and us to have a cuppa and a bit of cake. Having struggled to find somewhere welcoming, we thought the church might be kind. They were. They allowed the girls to eat their food while we consumed tea and cake. Perfect brew, my husband had one, it was so good I then got one too. The cake was homemade and delicious. The ladies were so friendly and welcoming and we were so grateful that they let the girls eat the food they wanted to without making a fuss. Forget the endless bakeries throughout St Ives, pop in here and relax for a bit, you won't regret it.
