rasicm is 100%! if you’re a foreigner then the treatment will be the best upon enrollment! or the playmate. my son is local and wasn’t even given the right amount of time during his play date. i’m not even sure how they evaluated him when all the attention was given to the foreigners. just be fair we are not asking for much.

After five years of attending bcad I can confidently say that this school is not worth dropping thousands and thousands of dirhams over. Its teachers are overworked, underpaid and so have become unprofessional, inefficient and unmotivated. I have had to teach myself entire subjects because of the lack of competence from certain departments. Dont fall for the constant propaganda; the students who do secure places at prestigious universities are a product of their own hard work and determination, not of the standard of the school’s education. All they care for is money and their reputation. Brighton college Abu Dhabi was once a school; it is now a mere business. Do urself a favor and enroll ur child at BSAK.

The very small amount of amazing teachers fortunately make up for the plethora of awful teachers. Mental health among students, especially sixth formers, is awful. Most teachers are extremely non-supportive of students suffering with mental health, and actively make it worse by relentlessly picking on students and failing to have any empathy. School allows known and reported abusers to roam the halls. Thankfully there were teachers such as Simon Baker who genuinely cared and looked out for his students, and was the reason I made it through sixth form and graduated. Academics are highly rated but at the cost of the students mental health and the school only caring about ratings. Bisad would be a much better option

Terrible school. It’s all a facade. If you’re ethnic British and child of a teacher, you will (maybe) have a decent time. If not, stay away. Leadership non existent, zero support, unprofessional. Many teachers are unhappy, higher year students mostly likewise. Academics are good but at what price in terms of well being. Especially in the higher years, it will be hell unless you’re in a small circle of favourite pupils who will have all obstacles removed for them. Everyone else, too bad. Enroll at your own risk

I cannot understand how the communication from the school can be so poor. Despite forms and video submissions to the admissions department and a promise to contact us in 5-7 days it is more than a month without any word despite several email and calls which are never answered in person and never returned despite leaving messages as instructed

If you are a black or Asian family and you want your kids to be biased against and harassed in their school, this is the best place to be . I made a mistake of sending my son there for two years .

Beyond impressed with how Brighton College Abu Dhabi handled so many restrictions and closures during Covid, and the welcome back to School has been so considered, positive and kind. BCAD puts the well-being, pastoral and academic care of its pupils at the forefront and their exemplary results are testament to this, both in examination grades and other areas of extra curricular offering and support. My children have had experience all three (Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior) Schools and the education and support they have received has been excellent. Pupils are well mannered, hard working and talk confidently, and they have ready access to a plethora of opportunities as well as a prestigious British Curriculum in a supportive House based system. School Leaders are accessible and introduce initiatives to engage pupils and compliment the academics. The pathway through/up School feels quite a natural and considered progression at every stage. Year 9 features early exposure to some of the GCSE content/technique that will be invaluable for Years 10 and 11 as well as initiatives to support an all rounded pupil/'applicant'! A better testimonial would be from my 10 year old: "my teacher is amazing, School make everything fun, they try to add in more activities, and explain things in different ways to help us. I am happy there Mum". Thank you BCAD.
