Highly recommend CIS, Cafeteria is 10/10
Caramel chocolate fusion and lemon mint are just too good to go to any other school

I'm a student here, but unfortunately this school doesn't even cater to people of determination. We have no ramps, no elevators, nothing - and we have three whole floors. The school just expects everyone who enrolls to be abled.

The school gets 47,000 from every senior kid, plus 12,000 for bus transportation, but the money is going nowhere. I've been at CIS for 13 years, and I grew up with this school. I love it with all my heart but the truth is, it needs so much improvement with their facilities.

The teachers are adequate - I've never had a problem with them, but it's just the facilities. I don't mean to be harsh! Just leaving an honest review ❤️

Open front gate for students, dropping off the students at side gate makes my route longer and inconvenient.

we like the school but it needs to provide a transportation to Shakboot city , the distance is short between Khalifa City and Shakboot comparing with other areas

If I can give lower rating I would, It's just a really bad place to learn and it's giving a bad vibes about Canada, Very Draining, the supervisors and teachers don't care much about students no place for new ideas to evolve, not much activities

I transferred my son to CIS from al Chaoufait Yas Island and it was the worse mistake we made.

We transferred based on the reviews of the school, I will agree that the teachers are polite and people are friendly and my son found very good friends but at the same time the school is permissive to DRUGS and alcohol, one of my son’s peers brings alcohol on a bottle of water and the teachers don’t pay attention ,l to her behavior. I personally brought up the issue of few teens smoking Doha in the bathroom and it was left without attention because accordingly to the admissions director this is permitted at their home and they school can’t go further than prohibit the use at the school but they can’t be after the children unless an incident is reported.

This is something I expect in the west and children need to learn to handle with this issues but not in the east while in a private school in a country where drugs and alcohol is not permitted.

The academic are very VERY low to the extend that now that we transferred back to USA in the middle of the year my son was evaluated to finish the eight grade and he passed based on the knowledge he got from al Choefat from grade 6 and 7 which is equal to 8 and 9 at other schools.

In the American school in USA where my son is now enrolled the principle was surprised to see the level of academics of CIS.
Whomever graduates from CIS won’t be able to apply to universities such as Yale or Georgia tech or MIS or Harvard because the school is way below an acceptable level.

During the last week my son misplace a book and we were charged 700 dhs when at the begging of the year we paid for the books plus the school held the last quarter almost 13,000 dhs that we didn’t use but still I had to pay otherwise my son was not going to have his school transcripts.

I am not disappointed for the money this review 1. About education quality and 2. About School values. Yes my son has great friends from CIS from very good families but these children are expose to very bad academic and the social environment which is not what any one will expect from a private international schooling UAE.

The band and his friends is the best experience my son got and he is graceful for this but he regrets the fact that seeking for more diversity we switched to the CIS and his academics were compromised but Thanks to what he learn in al Choefait he is now in his last quarter of eight grade and we hope he won’t have to spend the summer taking extra credits because of lack of academics from CIS

The policy of the school is fun and little bit of academic which in the real world we need 75% of academic and 25% of fun in order to earn a good salary.

The principle in the exit interview advised my son not to be enrolled in the IB or magnet programs in USA because accordingly to him, at the teen age he needed to have spare time to go out with friends and have fun and wait for the hard work at the university, I was skeptical to his advised, and when we reach to USA the first thing my son notice at his new school was that all students are enrolled in these programs to take advantage of the scholarships because their goals are to be accepted at the good universities

I am sorry but I am here just to give my opinion in what we experienced for those parents that are looking for a good education for their children in Abu Dhabi
