Everything went well until they served non veg to my friend who mentioned specifically veg dish.
They were quick to replace it though.
The place serves liquor . Food was ???? !

Restaurant is on 2nd floor of novel hotel. Paid public Parking is in front of the hotel. The food is good, very authentic ambience. This restaurant allows smoking inside. They don’t have a bar menu but serve alcohol. Try the Chinese beer. Slightly expensive to cost over 250dhs for 2 people. Portion size is slightly more than average. The service is slow/relaxed so if you are in rush probably avoid.

So far the best Chinese restaurant I've tried in AD. They even have pork. Everything we ate was delicious. Decor is also very authentic. Will definitely be back.

One of the best and authentic Chinese restaurants I have been to in Abu Dhabi recently (actually Beijing restaurant on Salam street was my fav but it closed). Location wise not the best…it’s in Novel hotel next to a sleazy bar/club on second floor. However, ignore the location and do visit for the awesome food.

It’s clean and the ambiance is what one would find in Hong Kong. It’s the only restaurant where I saw many Chinese patrons…that must say something.

We had broccoli and mushrooms dish. The sauce was out of this world. I couldn’t help scraping the sauce off the plate.

We also had chicken dish and eggplant dish. The chicken dish was superb…. With sautéed onions and other delish things.

The veg fried rice was great too.

The price is a little bit on the high side…but hey, for food this good it is worth it. Believe me you won’t be disappointed.

This is not a very good chinese restaurant. The servers and the chef were more concentrated with their delivery/take away than the dine orders. The food was very average,to a poiht of being salty. The food quality doesn't justify the price. Ordered lamb un szechuan sauce, it was just salty and spicy, the lamb has got this smell that is not fresh, the bitter melon dish was forgotten, fried rice was very salty, too much soya sauce, the tofu was ok, jasmine tea just tasted like water. Im not sure how did this restaurant got its ratings. I will not recommend this place neither would I want yo go back here again.

A hidden gem in the heart of Abu Dhabi serving up authentic Chinese cuisine. Ask for off the menu items like pork belly. They are fully licenced and serve Chinese beer and also have the most delicious cold Chinese Tea served in a can. The staff are super friendly and the whole experience was memorable. I especially loved the restaurant design paying tribute to its roots.
