The Spider Web pub is a bit of a disappointment. The atmosphere is non-existent, the pub smells horrible, and it needs a massive revamp.

The first thing you notice when you walk in is the smell. It's a combination of stale beer, and something else that I can't quite place. It's not a pleasant smell, and it makes it hard to enjoy your drink.

The atmosphere is also pretty bland. The walls are bare, the furniture is old and uncomfortable, and there's nothing to do but sit and drink.

Overall, the Spider Web pub is a bit of a letdown. If you're looking for a place to have a good time, I would recommend going somewhere else e.g. The Grosvenor

I wouldn't recommend this pub to anyone

This is my first visit to The Spider Web as there is a band playing this Evening very impressed its got a very good stage also great atmosphere definitely be coming again from The Biggest Party Goer in Cleethorpes from Party Paul ???? ????.

Great, honest amd down to earth family run pub. OK some of the seats are old, warn and stained.. OK it's not the most modern... but that's what is good about it! Some new seats have been added and it is generally a clean place.. clean toilets.
If you want a real pub.. real beers and real atmosphere then this is the place.

Visited the small formal room for a birthday. Room was clean, tidy and quiet. Everyone enjoyed their time. Staff were friendly.

Quite simply one of the last few traditional, old school pubs in Grimsby. Real people, great service and excellent beers at very affordable prices!
And if the sun is out there a great West facing beer garden in the back, that gets the sun all day.
Keep your eyes open for the band nights, featuring plenty of local and national bands in the same room that can be hired out for functions
