For all the talk of being 'Inclusive', you're totally 'excluded' by M&S unless you have electronic means of paying. So, if you don't have access to electronic banking and a Smart Phone, don't bother. Rather ironic when you consider that they closed their Banking arm down over a year ago.

I ordered food and sat down for around 15 minutes until the staff told me they were not going to cook me any food as there shutting the kitchen. They did give me a refund. I was just annoyed I sat there for so long and no one told me. She was also kind of rude to me as if it was my fault even though when I ordered they were still taking orders.

Probably done me a favour as it was so messy and dirty. Every single table was dirty.

This continues to be an ideal place to relax and have a drink and bite to eat. Generally very busy because the staff are so accommodating, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Ordered online in store. Coffee arrived without my sandwich. Everyone else getting served around me. I was on my own and had to leave my coffee to ask where my sandwich was and when I got back to my seat a member of staff was taking my coffee away. Not impressed by the service at all ☹️

Just observed staff clearing dirty tables and going straight to serving fresh food without washing their hands. Worse than this, the person cooking the food in the kitchen has just emptied a full bin and then prepared teacakes without washing her hands! Whatever happened to food hygiene…? Disgusting! This happened on 11/05/2023 @ 4:15pm, just in case M&S want to do some retraining…..

It took 22 minutes just to get a coffee on a Saturday morning before 10am. Absolutely ridiculous. The ‘order online and deliver to table’ system only works when sufficiently staffed. It also means you wait behind other tables with large food orders, when you only want a drink. Never again!

Large in-store cafe with self-service ordering system You can either order at the self-service kiosks at the entrance to the cafe and take a tracker for staff to bring your order, or sit at a table and use the QR code to order from your phone at the table.
