What makes my stay memorable were the people working in the hotel and restaurants from the room cleners, drivers and in the reception area who always give a warm welcome to everybody making our stay comfortable and relaxing. The place is very nice specially the safari which we enjoyed too much.

From the moment you arrive at the ferry terminal you know this place is different. It's a place of natural beauty, full of wildlife and interesting history. The hotel itself is like a lucury guest lodge and has everything you could need. Food is excellent and staff provide great service. I did the Wadi walk activity and it was like being on another planet - recommend. If you want bird song and calm then this is the place for you :)

The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I entered the lobby, I was greeted with warm and friendly staff with complementary shoulder massage. The room was very clean, with luxurious furnishings and a comfortable bed. The hotel amenities, were top-notch, providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Overall, my stay at this hotel was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience in the UAE.
I highly recommend to make the Safari with Mounir who will show you all places and species. Special thanks also to Ayoub for his warm welcome in the Hotel.

My wife and I came to this resort to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. This place was amazing from the get go. From the boat ride to the island to our last day here, the staff did an amazing job. Everything was so clean and well maintained. Staff was extremely friendly and added complimentary goodies for our anniversary. Not to forget, their food options are awesome. We would definitely recommend this resort. 5 stars!

This place is amazing. It is two hours drive from Abu Dhabi plus 10min boat ride, but it certainly worth it. The staff do everything to make you comfortable and relaxed. The placed is well designed for tranquility. The room was big enough for family of four, with enough extra space, plus balcony with amazing pool and sea view. Outside there are many animals that go around freely, great for kids. Breakfast was exceptional.

Stayed this weekend for my bday. It was an amazing experience from travelling in the ferry to the island. Staying in sea facing deluxe room and eating the amazing food at Al shams. It was relaxing. Loved the hospitality of camile in Al shams restaurant. They surprised me with a cake for celebrating my bday. Loved the pool time. You can do a lot of activities here as well. Living amongst the wildlife, enjoying the beach by the pool is the best feeling ever.

My extended family at this venue-.
Milhan- Prompt and Very responsive. Managed my needs even after he is off duty, and with a smile. The face of the resort to me.
Dennis- Cheerful and energetic. His smile and responsiveness is the assurance to his guests,.
Jomon- he asked me about my favorite food in a passing conversation, and I see it for my breakfast the next morning. How delightful! Great attention to details.
Shaheer- The man for all seasons. I saw this guy everywhere, helping everybody. Service with a smile is his mantra.
Aida and Gamra-The two girls from Tunisia that exhibit good values and cheerful service.
Francis- the chef from Ghana who is great with steaks and was even kind to share his expert tips on the best way to cook one.
Delano- He suggested the nature walk amongst the other activities, and asked me to tell him how I felt. I can tell you that Delano is one of the best activity professionals I’ve come across.
Munir- A nature walk or safari with him is like traveling to his home. He is passionate about the animals, vegetation and Watersports. Very inspiring.
Mohammed at the bar- Always smiling and ready to serve you even when he’s working in 50 degrees at the pool bar.
Retno and Shazoon (al yamm)- great conversation at your lobby about island life and working in hospitality . It felt like we’ve known each other since before.
Michelle, Camille and Sasandhi- they’re always ready with a smile and warmth, be it 6 am or 6 pm. It’s magical to possess such energy.
Ramesh managed the Ferry transfers with a smile and so efficiently. It’s not easy to manage 10-15 trips everyday during peak summers.
Tamara, the wellness manager- She plays a role in ensuring her employees and guests are happy and looked after.
Whatever I’ve written is less a review and more an expression of my gratitude.
Anantara Resorts- please keep up the good work with looking after your employees while they look after your business ????????????

It was an amazing experience, a short one, but worth it. I honestly can’t but mention certain members that made our stay memorable all the way from the ferry to the hotel, the amazing Saïd who drove us from the ferry to the hotel, Ayoob our kind receptionist, and not to forget our F&B people, Tina who made my day with Birthday cake and recommendations for delicious food, Camile who was always kind and helpful, Mohamad whom we troubled several times, but was always patient, last but not least Francis our unique chef, he made us enjoy food and think about our health at the same time!

I come from hospitality background and honestly its rare to find passionate and dedicated people, Anantara is luck to have them! We will definitely come back!
