Had Lunch with colleague yesterday. I tried here around 6 months before, that time food was above average. So I recommended my colleague and we tried BEEF DUM BRIYANI; rice and other side dishes are good. But the meat (beef) was not good. They served with 3 small-medium size meat pieces which was very less quantity compared to other nearby shops I guess; quantity ok we can take that. But the meat quality is not good enough; maybe we not liked that much. Anyhow overall services, ambience are good. Food served very fast and in banana leaf and other stuffs are good.

This place is awesome. You will always find here long queue in waiting.. always crowded because food is awesome. Service is fast. Everything is tasty. Be it south indian or north indian food. Non veg dishes are their plus point. We had lunch today for my husband's birthday. We orders Veg kolhapuri dal tadka and tava roti.. those were the softest rotis wr had in hotel. We had gobi chili dry..that was real spicy. How we love real teekha. They gave complimentary payasam kind of thing also.may be that was chana dal kheer. It was also good..( sweet). Good place to have family lunch/dinner. Price is also reasonable. We had bill of 53 dirham only for all this. That was good price for tasty food.

Highly recommended. Worth every penny you spend. Best for indian(specially kerala type of food. I have tried chicken chatti curry, kanthati chicken, beef, porata, naan, butter naan, appam, fish pollichath Kantari chicken was not very spicy. Other than that all the stuffs were really good. At the end we had juices.
Good place to dine with family and friends

Got to try their Beef Biriyaani and Sezhwan Chicken Noodles. Both were yummy! Just loved it.
They have got a wide seating area and family friendly.
It's my first time there and no doubt I will surely recommend it to my friends!

A Google search for “Kerala Restaurants“ sorted for top ratings pointed to this place. My friend who had called up one of his whom was familiar with Al Ain also corroborated our finding.

DownTown Calicut Al Ain was a pleasant experience for us. Ordered their Nool Poratta (fluffy, flaky, very filling), the day’s special Chicken Perattu (semi thick gravy of Pepper) and Payyoli Chicken Fry.

Justice was done to Payyoli Chicken Fry (I live in the next town to Payyoli) and the Chicken Perattu was a good dish (although we’d have preferred a gravy-gravy to go with the Poratta).

Dining arrangements were neat, comfortable and the service was attentive. Prices felt justified for the quantity and quality of the dishes served.

Fresh Milk Tea was refreshing!

Family/group friendly, I could also find lone diners. Parking won’t be a problem, plenty of paid parking up front.

Overpriced for what we got, we ordered chicken biryani, Pothichoru, kachumber salad and mushroom salt & pepper.
The only thing we liked was mushroom salt & pepper. Biryani was very average, the salad was weird and pothichoru was a total mess, we were served cold food and had to ask them to reheat totally disappointed.

It's a reasonable restaurant at Al Ain. Good food with variety of south indian dishes, But, accomodation is very low.

Quite good value for money. Very decent quality of food - better than good but not quite exceptional. The masala sharbat was great with green chilies giving a bite. The Calicut meals are super value for money and very flavorful. Biriyani was good as well. We also had the honey glazed chicken , which was between okay and good. The royal falooda was feast with lots of nuts. Overall good place for food.
