Thanks to the worker near the steps on the 2F floor, he helped me find a place that sells Bose headphones.

Very large department store with a great selection of both high end and affordable products.

Was delighted my puppy was allowed in the store with us and also that they had a great selection of dog products.

The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Lovely experience today at the Dior makeup counter. Was helped by a lady called Sammy who was fantastic. I wanted a foundation sample but unfortunately the colour wasn't available. Sammy gave me a mini makeover to show me the right colour for me. Felt really good when I left the store. Thanks Sammy.

What happened to the Car Park - I must admit haven't been to JL Welwyn for ages, my card didnt work, I dont use a phone, if I wasnt with someone else then what ? Another customer took the parking ticket of £100 as no card only cash on him, wth is that. Also no decent China, why not. No Voiles, all mismatches, why not ? No stock, why not ? Obviously JL wants to get rid of building to highest bidder so are running it down. No I am not buying China or Curtains online. The JL Board are asset stripping, they need to be gone asap. Also the Entrance, there is nothing to draw the Customers to the store, all double yellow lines. The local Council are blighting the whole area. There should be parking all along outside the front entrance as it used to be. It would look amazing & busy.

I really enjoy shopping at this John Lewis. There's plenty of local public parking in easy walking distance and if you park in one of the off street car parks there's a free period of 30 mins. The shop itself is plentiful of stock, so its a pleasure to walk around, with plenty of opportunity to impulse buy. We have ordered online from John Lewis and had it delivered to collect from here and the collection service itself is a little bit dated. The collection center is at the back of the store, in a dingy dark area which in fairness does have easy access to the collection loading bay (if you know where that is - we had to walk through it to get to our car parked on the street as we didn't know about the collection parking area). The shop itself has relatively good services, most of the staff are friendly although I think they could improve by offering a more personal service when people are buying luxury items. You get the same level of attention and service if you're buying a 300 pound handbag as you do if you're buying a 5 pound pair of socks and on the Clarins store I had to go round the counter to get the product we needed before anyone came to help us. On this though, there is a "personal shopping" experience in the ladies section, I've walked past it several times but haven't seen it in use. All in all though, I'm glad to see a lovely, well set out department store like this still thriving in a high street setting and will continue to support it as much as possible.

Can be expensive but do your research.

Annemarie was so lovely at the Welwyn Garden City store. She helped us pick out our ‘forever’ cutlery set and was so helpful and cared about us. 10/10 service she really is a credit to the company.

Being a big chain this doesn’t always meet the mark. Some staff are really friendly and are well informed in their departments, where as there have been times when you ask a person a question and they are clueless to the answer. Perhaps there are training gaps but that really lets the experience fall below par. The store itself has great spaces with different departments for electronics, fabrics and clothing and home. It’s an ideal space for gifts and you can pretty much find everything you need or want!
