eggcellent cafe

I had the pleasure of visiting Eggcellent in Abu Dhabi, and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. I do want to mention that finding the cafe may be a little confusing initially, but fear not, I'm here to guide you. It's located at the first exit of the roundabout before the mosque, nestled amidst condominium-like buildings. When you arrive, simply inform the security guard that you're heading to Eggcellent cafe.

I drove to the cafe, and I was delighted to find that they offer complimentary valet services. It's such a thoughtful touch that added to the overall convenience and made my visit even more enjoyable.

Let's talk about the food, because it truly stole the show. I ordered the Truffle And Parmesan Fries along with the Wagyu N' Mushroom Burger, and let me tell you, they were a match made in culinary heaven. I do want to note that the burger already comes with a side of Truffle And Parmesan Fries, but I couldn't resist ordering an extra portion. And boy, am I glad I did! The fries were expertly cut, with just the right thickness, and the combination of truffle and parmesan created an explosion of flavors in my mouth. The cheese melted perfectly, adding a creamy richness to each bite. I found myself wanting more truffle flavor, and if I have the opportunity to revisit this excellent restaurant, I will definitely request extra truffle to satisfy my taste buds.

If I were a resident of this country, I would make it a point to visit Eggcellent consistently until I've had the chance to taste and test everything on their menu. The prices are moderate and completely justified considering the quality and flavors they offer.

One aspect that stood out to me was the beautiful scenery surrounding the restaurant. It's truly a great location, and I highly recommend taking a leisurely stroll by the beach after your meal. It adds an extra touch of tranquility and relaxation to the overall dining experience.

The waiter at Eggcellent was attentive and made sure to inquire about my preferred doneness for the burger. I requested it to be cooked medium rare, and I must say, they nailed it. The burger was cooked to perfection, with a juicy and flavorful patty that left me completely satisfied.

If I had the chance to revisit this cafe in the future, I would definitely inquire about the different sauces they offer to further enhance my dining experience. I am sure this will make a visit truly more memorable.

I do wish I had more time during my trip to Abu Dhabi to fully explore this wonderful cafe. Next time, I will make sure to book accommodations near Eggcellent so that I can indulge in its offerings every day, if possible. It's a place that deserves to be savored and experienced to the fullest.

I must also commend the staff on their exceptional service. They were friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The cleanliness of the cafe was top-notch, and I appreciate their dedication to maintaining a pristine environment. The clean toilets were a reflection of the overall attention to detail that Eggcellent exhibits.

Had my first experience in this cafe this morning for breakfast. I immediately loved their ambience and decor and their colors! ???? The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Special mention to Khel, our server, who was very friendly and funny and informative as well. I liked how he took our orders, giving us info about their menu, he effectively wrote down our orders and read it back to us for confirmation. The food is delicious and very unique as well. It was a lovely experience and I’m sure we will be back again. Special thanks also to Jericho, the barista, for making our delicious coffee. ????

Lovely cafe in al bateen marine. Lovely location opposite to the water view. The food is nice and the coffee too. Only one of the team i dont know whats her position ( i think shes european maybe) wasnt in the mood and talking to us with grumpy face and she is like go there and take the table before someone take it! I was very respectful when I requested a table for 8, the other team tried to help us in many ways and where very corporative.

I tried this place with my friends and we were so glad we did.

Wonderful, cute and clean space; I loved the simple yet comfy place. It is well spaced too and enough room between the tables.

The breakfast was...SO DELICIOUS ???? I ate everything on my plate which is rare for me :)

We will definitely come back to this place, I want to try their dessert next time.

This is my first time at eggcellent and I love the aesthetics and vibes the place offers. The staff are very polite and the service is eggcellent. The food ( Steak and Eggs ) was great and the coffee ( Iced Spanish Latte ) is also good. This is a must visit place in Abu Dhabi.

Located in a wonderful in a residential area next to a Marina. The area is quiet with a view of the Etihad Towers. There are valets to park your car, just ensure you get the card validated by the restaurant for it to be free. The restaurant looks very welcoming and clean. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors which was nice but we did have to contend with flys now and again. The waitress tried her utmost to keep flys away. The food came out quick after we ordered and was delicious. The portion sizes were good but for the price, I think they should be larger. They have this concept of croffles!, this is a croissant put in a waffle grill, so it's a mix of both. Good idea and it taste good too. My poached eggs were spot on. They customised my order for me which made it even better. The service was great but I did have to ask for straws and sugar, something that should have been served with the food but this is a minor. Slightly over priced but I would return. I would give it 4.5 stars if possible. Recommended for families too as they have kids meals which are really good.
