Lovely little place didn't even realise it was there till I found it on google maps while here on holiday. There's parking for a few hours £2 as of May 2023. Nice little cafe on site with picnic tables and toilets, a small park with a kids zip wire, wooden statues and an old train with pictures of the local history of the train station inside . Lovely walk along river you can walk to Tintern from here if you choose. Spent a couple of hours here with the dog ???? ☀️????

A very pleasant and peaceful place to visit, excellent restoration work on the station and buildings, felt like the train service had only recently been withdrawn.
Really good day out for all of the family.

Its a lovely venue, but can get busy car park wise. Cafe has lovely food but again can be busy so be prepared to wait. Could do with more tables outside, but the ones that are there are in good nic.

There is not a massive amount to do here, but the car park is handy for the riverside walk along the Wye. Take the path back towards Tintern, and you'll pass the charming little church of St Michael's with its small burial ground. Just around the corner lies the Wye Valley Hotel. Food and drink for the hungry walker. Carry on toward Tintern, and you pass the local steak house pub. I've not been in there, but it looks like a reasonable drinking hole and eatery. The stretch of road from the hotel all the way to Tintern itself has only the narrowest footpath, which is not ideal given the busy road, even though there is a permanent 20mph speed limit along this stretch. Tintern is really interesting if you are into historical sites. The impressive Tintern Abbey makes the visit complete, but that's another review.

Beautiful park and amazing sculptural. There was a film showing in the visitor centre about how the sculptures came to be. There are signs showing who each sculpture is about on the opposite side of the path, on a wall.

Great place to spend few hours outside with kids :) you can play on a playground, play inside the train, drink delicious coffee in coffee shop, toilet facilities and baby changing unit available, many tables and chairs, truly recommend

Quirky little park in the woods. Lots of little things for kids to do/see. Impressive wood carvings. Zip line. Play area. What looked to be BBQ facilities. Part of a long circular walk which finishes up crossing the old railway bridge - highly recommend the walk, it is beautiful!
