Best Indian we had on our trip to the Middle East. Great flavours and friendly staff! This is where locals dine ????

Heads up: it's cash only, they close around mid-day and most items on the menu aren't available until the evening. One of such being the Thali.

Best Gujrati thali meals….it’s unlimited. Priced at 18 AED, they serve fresh chapatis too. Also tried their halwa . ???? decent vegetable restaurant.

As I was craving for gol gappay (pani puri) so after getting recommendations from an Abu Dhabi Facebook group I headed to this veg restaurant/joint to try their gol gappay (Pani puri).
And to my utter disappointment I didn't find gol gappay worth the hype.
The order was served within a couple minutes of waiting but I had to assemble it myself. I mean the gol gappay, alu masala(potato filling) and onions were served all separately.
The water was not UpTo the mark which is the main attraction of gol gappay. It had more taste of coriander chilli paste than tamarind or other sour ingredients.
Then to overcome my disappointment I ordered BHEL puri (another mistake) and they make sure that I will get my complete dissatisfaction at a higher level. Although it was a lesser disaster than gol gappay. The biggest turn off was the sweetness in BHEL puri which I have to balance with lemon eventually.
The only thing that attracted me is their chach (lassi made using yogurt and water only) which they served to someone else on my table but I also took a glass to taste then ending getting another one (unlimited supply and came in a jug)
Everyone else was having their veg unlimited Thali which I have planned to try next time.
For vegetarians it's a good option in the vicinity of electra st, however, I was comparing gol gappay with Karachi's Man Pasand snacks joint (Karachittes know) which was a mistake at my end.
Could only be able to take BHEL puri picture.

I'm seeing this restaurant for long years now and ate many times.

This place known for its chaat and thali (set of hot pulkas, rice of the day and variety of side dishes, all of these unlimited for AED 18)

The quality of the food and the service is good.

Ambience: Paid resident parking and few non resident parking area. It has separate place for families on 1st floor. Dining places were clean but washroom area was below par.

Comparatively worth of its price $.

Had best Vegetarian meal here!!! Highlight of thali was Paneer, so soft and tasty, chapatis were freshly made!!! Best thali u can eat here as much as u want!!! Unlimited thali ????

Food is good and economic. The part is their menu for Thali, which includes seasonal vegetables and curry. Unlimited thali is available for 18 AED.

Good options of sweets are also available.

Great place for dinner where we ordered a thali each. The chef (& maybe owner) proudly showed us the curry's available that evening which all looked good. The tray might not look much but the friendly staff were keen to constantly keep each dish topped up along with plenty of fresh chapati's so there was no shortage of tasty food. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
