As a patient in stockdale ward, I have nothing but the highest regard for this facility and its staff.

The staff were friendly, helpful, encouraging but never pushy. Fed 4 times a day but also with snacks between meals provided should you request.

The treatment I received was top notch, the staff listened to all of my concerns, and made sure I was as comfortable as could possibly be given my circumstances.

I was given the medication and support I needed at all times, even in the dark hours of the night, staff were helpful and willing to talk if I needed.

Fantastic facility and staff.

My youngest son was admitted to this hospital in Stockdale ward.
All the staff were very caring and professional.
I would very much like to see an improvement in their communication amongst themselves.
In my honest opinion, the staff level certainly needs increasing to take the load off the current staff and thus giving more attention to the patients.
In general I found the hospital to be very good.
Kind regards to all in the Stockdale ward.

This will be my final night at Rosberry Park hospital (Bilsdale Ward) after spending 7 weeks in two hospitals. Tomorrow, I will finally be coming home, and I am truly excited for the future and all that it holds. Although the things I expected to be in place for my release will not be happening, I refuse to dwell on this. No matter how much I worry or talk about it, the outcome will not change. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Rosberry Park NHS for their exceptional care, and treatment over the past 4 weeks, all the staff are outstanding no problem was to big. Don't be deceived into thinking that private psychiatric hospitals are better simply because you pay for them, because they are not. In fact, my 3-week stay at the Priory hospital did not provide the same level of treatment as the NHS. I understand that coping with my mental health will be a lifelong struggle, but I am taking it one step at a time.

Well Done Bilsdale Ward, as much as I love been home, I will miss the staff and some of the patients

PS I Will not miss the jacket potatoes ???? ???? ???? ???? ???? 7 days a week..

I telephoned up roseburry park to receive more info. I asked if they do trial and error the answer straight away ( no. ) In the past and present I know different. Must cost thousands because of this procedure

Many psychiatrists have retired many changed jobs but you could say still on my radar. within the telephone call I asked if psychiatrists are trained she said yes. If I told you of different appointments with different psychiatrists you wouldn't know to laugh or cry !

They are supposed to keep records look at them often and find out where the patient is declining the side effects but it won't tell you the vast amount of malpractice. The records are rewritten or lost or even destroyed meaning no evidence of any scandals

The last question do they make mistakes ? The secretary said : Everyone makes mistakes so I gathered that's a yes.

I get care off family and friends they know a about life not just mental illness.

Been in and out of Saint Luke's been in and out of Roseburry park now free from the unnecessary restraints unnecessary treatments which gave me side effects. Not on a section and up to date they want nothing to do with me ( l wonder why )

Through this info I want the team of mental health which includes Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurses to think once again about the patients mental health and their own in the near future. That's if they have no way of helping the vulnerable better than they are doing.

They make big money and have a serious job to do and I would like to see progress.

Right amount of costly treatments right amount of love care and attention and knowing when the patient is declining.

NO STARS IF I COULD ONLY GIVE!! (which is ironic because the whole place is fascinated with stars) Regardless of that injoke i am now and was sane even back then but not listened to but had 10 months of abuse by many staff and patients. The violent patients are mixed with the unviolent. They belittled my mental state and pointed out the most ill person and said "do you want to spend the rest of your life like him?" I was forced to the most high risk ward after midnight and I had to stay there for the majority of my time there, but they wouldnt even tell me why! I was happily playing on a phone game in a suitable ward but 2 large nurses threw all my stuff into bags and took me to the worst ward! They wouldn't explain why! Even if sane and rationally give your experiences they will give u endless different medications without even a proper diagnosis. Your own doctor overseeing is very hard to get hold of. Its hard to believe the qualified staff really have any credentials other than to give false diagnoses and dish out snide comments. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE TO FIND PEACE AS THEY WILL SERIOUSLY BECOME WORSE UPON ARRIVAL. If your loved ones are devout Christians going through a spiritual darkness - it will be even worse for them here

i was in Rosebery park mental hospital and was very ill at the time i also saw some patients attack the nurses and staff because they where very ill some would get upset but they never hurt us just kept us happy i used to do some gardening and help like others with me lay the dinner plates on the table ready for our meals after being in there a long time they called me into a room with other doctors and nurses and ask if i would like to go home as i got a lot better and now get treatment Lustrum vale 163 Durham road Stockton memory clinic and should be more than 5 stars for the kind treatment i got from them in making me a lot better more like a sky full of stars

A vulnerable person was put through severe psychological and emotional torture by Emma Hopson, the Primary Care Service Manager of Alliance Psychological Services. Emma Hopson claimed she worked as a Mental Health Nurse at the female ward at Roseberry Park for around 20 years.

I am a carer for my brother who is a patient there now. My experience so far is good. He is getting the care he needs under very difficult circumstances regarding the NHS issues everyone is having to face. The staff have all been very informative and try and keep up to date with what is going on. I live 3 hours away so this is vital for peace of mind. On the occasions that I have called to see how my brother is have always spoke to a member of staff that has reassured me that the care is going well. When visiting it has always been a positive experience
