I came after a late night at work and strolled through the front door with just minutes to spare before the kitchen closed. The hostess still happily greeted me and got me a table and told me that if I ordered right away I would be able to get some food. I ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger and was expecting it not to be that good since they were about to close up the kitchen and probably just wanted to go home. I’m very happy to say that not only was I blown away by how good it was, it was one of the best chicken burgers that I have had in a long time! The staff is great, the restaurant was very clean and fashionably decorated. I would highly recommend this place for a good tasty meal.

The food was really good, I loved the garlic bread. Services was ok, I can't complain just felt a bit under staff, we need the waitress a couple of times and we had to wait a bit.
A bit expensive but with this price increase it is difficult everywhere it is difficult to say.

In general good experience and good food. I will come back when I back in the area

Took daughter there for birthday, coffee in gazebo then meal in restaurant. Absolutely perfect! Food, atmosphere and service all excellent. Staff always very helpful, even anticipating questions, but no hassling or pressure, which often does happen elsewhere and is a real spoiler.
Recommended in every way - go there and enjoy!

Lovely Sunday roast and great service. It's busy, so you need to book on Sunday. Despite being busy it feels relaxed and nobody rushed you. Kids menu too. Large portions. Only slight criticism is lack of variety of veg. It come with roasties, carrots and cabbage. But you can order cauli cheese on the side. Desserts were nice, but a bit disappointed with the waffle, which was a bit stodgy. I would recommend this for a family Sunday lunch.

Went for a drink and stayed for dinner! We visited on a Saturday around 4:30pm and sat outside on the patio. The patio is covered and had heaters and blankets which were very welcome. We liked the look of the menu so ordered food. We did have to wait almost an hour for the food to arrive. The food was really tasty, good size portions and the service staff were lovely. Would definitely go again. The menu changes everyday, the day we were there we found plenty of choice to suit our family. Wonderful atmosphere, clean, lovely finishing touches, friendly staff.

Great food, great customer service and to top it off they are very dog friendly.

I’ve been here a few times and the food is always great and they have a very cosy interior.

I’ve always sat indoors and they sometimes give doggy treats to our dog which is a very sweet gesture.

The pub can be busy so you should book tables in advance.
