A clean and decent place. The prices can vary from one stand to another so you’ll have to fight your way to the most accurate price. Keep in mind they only accept cash. (Some stands accept card payment, yet, carry with you some cash). I got salmon for 50 aed/kilo. Try to get it cheaper fighting your way with the prices.

It’s a fully modern fish market with all the facilities very neat and clean spl there is no smell..all shops are well maintained but prices are increased…
Fish cleaning section is also saparate and managed a single body…
Parking is very less near fish market due ti construction around
New fish bbq and fry shops opened but again prices are increased

We visited on weekend (Sunday) around noon time. There were far more sellers than buyers and all of them try to convince you to buy their product, which limits your ability to walk around.
Eventually we purchased some fish and prawns and cooked them at one of the kiosks where they clean and grill the fish for you. Took 20-30 minutes. It was delicious.
Prices are equivalent to what you pay in the supermarkets. Maybe I could reduce it a bit if I haggled but I didn't.

Great variety of sea food available. Prices can be bargained to an extent with the vendors. For a nominal charge they can also clean and cut your fish. There are couple of restaurants which serve delicious grilled sea food. One can also pay 10-15 dirhams to get fish/ Shrimps grilled by them. Takes little time but worth the wait.

Fish shops reduce the price by continuous negotiation, which suggests dishonesty in pricing, and that prices are applied according to the intelligence of the customer. Also, when you cook shrimp there or any fish, count it after weighing, as almost half of the quantity was hidden from my friends when they counted it before eating, and everyone did From the shop and the barbeque shop, by exchanging accusations, the dining service there is also very poor, and I would never recommend repeating it

Area is still under construction, so no much to see around the fish market itself. Inside this is a constant harassment by fish vendors and restaurants owners. This harassment lead us to leave the market without spending more than 15 minutes inside. Abu Dhabi municipality should implement policy to allow visitors and buyers to be let alone.
