Only problem we encountered was discovering our car was blocked in the east side car park although the car blocking us quickly moved. Would suggest other visitors consider where they park their car before leaving it.

Take a flask and a sandwich with you.
Lots of seats by the river.
Lovely and clean and a kids playground.
Also bowling green is open.
