Visited on Saturday afternoon. At time of visit there were 2 covered areas, one predominantly for what looked like beautiful fresh vegetables and the other for used goods. Interspersed among these were snack food vendors. This is not an upmarket kind of market, if you are not from the subcontinent you will stand out and you will be stared at (just a note for any tourists). I did not see any live chickens but for 1 dirham, the samosa were crispy & filling. I also picked up some electrical knick-knacks.

Mussafah bazaar is famous for used items and fresh vegetables and fruits, only on Saturdays and Sundays.

Be careful, don't trust sellers

I thought I'm going to find good prices for fruits and vegetables but in fact no its all depends in how you bargain. In the weekend you can find always cheaper prices in the big supermarkets and co-op with discount promotions . The electrical items and mobile accessories are good prices. I saw tailors and people fix shoes and they sell second hand clothes.also local chickens and fishes are sold. I don't advise women to come as it's labours gathering areas in the weekend.

Very very good market.this is called JUMA bazaar. everything available here @ very cheap price. fresh fruit and vegetables are available like higher quality market but prices are very very reasonable
