Its a place you can bargain the prices. But nowadays not much of a difference of the prices given compared to supermarkets. I mostly go to supermarkets these days

It's my favorite place to shop in winter for fruits and vegetables,fresh and clean,though summer time it's not cooled enough! Hot and humid despite some sealing fans here and there.

An open market (mandi) for fresh fruits and vegetables at cheaper prices. Close by are also many different shops selling variety of food in bulk.

Easy to get to and PLENTY of variety! I don't even have to get out of the car if I don't want to! Great prices too!!!

It's an experience compared to buying from hypermarkets, but the key is to become a regular at one of the stands. They will then treat you like king and offer better prices.

Don't be surprised if you find men who try to carry your bags. It's a normal service here in the UAE and it helps them a lot. They will not usually tell you the price but be reasonable. I would not give anything below 25 dirhams, although some people give 5 and 10, which I find it insulting to the man's dignity, considering the type of work he's already doing to feed his family. Even if he's just helped you for a few minutes.

Just all kinds of vegetable and fruits are available. Kerla restaurant food is very bad quality there
