Do not book or use! They left us waiting for over 30 minutes while repeating me telling us a taxi was on the way it was freezing cold and I had three children with me after 35 minutes. They’ve been cancelled even though I had told him repeatedly. I could’ve got an Uber but didn’t want to get double charged. I found so many times and they lied continuously not only was it dangerous but it was completely unfair. I have not been told I have to wait up to 10 days for a refund! What is the most disgusting customer service they knew from the beginning. There was no can drivers, but just kept us hanging in case. No wonder people are telling away from companies like this and using online services

We called at 8.15am and booked a cab for 9am to take our friend to the airport. As the clock hit 9.05am no cab had arrived so we called metro up.

The same man who my girlfriend had booked with less than an hour ago answered. He said no car was coming and seemed to ignore her pointing out that the cab had been booked less than an hour ago. No cars were available now he said. No apology, no offer of help and not even minimal empathy for the tough situation our friend was in being late for her flight as we scrambled to find an alternative cab. Terrible service.

Awful service. I called a taxi to collect 2 adults and a disabled child from Barnet Hospital. When the driver arrived I asked him to confirm who he was hear to collect as I couldn’t read his numberplate, it was 10 pm at night and I wanted to be sure we were entering the correct taxi (several others were also waiting for cars). The driver mumbled somthing under his breath in response to my question and as I reached for the door handle to open the car door he drover off nearly running me over! And before they say they ‘can’t find my booking’ as in previous posts reviewing their service, I have the txt message confirming the job! Absolutely awful.

I will NEVER EVER use your disgusting taxi service again!!!! My sick mother who goes to dialysis at Barnet hospital had to be picked up from the hospital last minute as NHS transportation wasn’t arranged for her. I called Metro cars as I had used them a few times before. They usually charge £19. This time they decided to charge me £3 extra and rip me off. Also they made my sick mother wait ONE HOUR at the hospital after picking up the wrong passenger. Whenever I tried calling them this old English man said he was very busy and rudely hung up on my face. When I confronted him, he had no shame. You are the worst!!!! Do not use them if you have any common sense!!! Absolutely no shame or morals.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Cancelled my taxi to the airport within an hour of being due to arrive, called once without leaving a voicemail or a return number. When I called up the office to see where they were, the driver due to collect us was unhelpful and rude. Will not be using them again.

I came across this cab firm when there was a tube strike and they got me a mini cab when all other local firms could not and nor could Addison Lee. I was so grateful and my driver was so helpful and got me to my appointment on time. Highly recommended by me!

My family and I have used this company for years and the service has become increasingly bad. Most recently, our booking didn't seem to exist on their system, leaving us left waiting at the airport gone midnight for over an hour. The guy we spoke to back at the office was incredibly rude and unempathetic. An element of saving grace was that the driver who picked us up was lovely. However, we will never use Metro again - an easily avoidable booking mistake on their end and a complete lack of remorse or respect for customer loyalty from the office team.
