I really love this place. For me, everything are in good prices. From foods, toys, stationeries, hardware, gardening, appliances, electricals, kitchen wares, home decors, and even clothing. The price is cheaper vs other stores. Their is a bus stop infront of the store. Parkings are available, but hussle during rush hours. The ground floor is for food items, the 1st floor is for clothes, 1st basement is for kitchen wares, and the last basement is for toys and stationeries.

A good place to shop for groceries and utensils and household stuffs. But when it comes to toys and departmental little more quality products should be kept on shelf. Prices are no doubt very very competitive and moderate. Nice small small plants of flowers and chillis plants was available. Felt good to see them

Grand Emirates Market - The One-Stop Shop for Your Family and Home Needs! Toys Galore for Your Little Ones!

Grand Emirates Market is a shopping paradise that caters to all your family and home needs. From groceries to clothes, kitchenware to crockery, this place has it all! And don't forget to check out the amazing selection of toys for your little ones.

The market is huge, and you'll find everything you need at out-of-this-world prices.

The kitchen section is especially impressive, with an excellent variety of items available.

The clothes section was also fine, but the real gems lie in the other departments.

Here in Abu Dhabi, you have this kind of markets where you get lot of stuff. Various products under one roof. You should be aware about best prices, comparative rate analysis is a must

Cozy caves.

When i went it happened to be cold and snowing so every minute we spent driving, the roads became more icey and dangerous. So if you want to go out when its snowy get your grippy snow tires on because the road there be adventurous.
To get to the caved we drove down a valley? Gorge? and OOF coz it was snowy 2 cars already slid off the roads. but luckily we got down safely. There is a way you can go around but we didnt know.

You walk up some stairs to get to the caves (not very wheelchair / disability accessible)

There is a cafe there so we drank some hot coco to warm our selves up.

There is a little Museum section with rocks and bones labled. there are different bowls and vases there too made with gems. In the shop you can purchase little to big gems, some are just in little peices while others are carved into statues. So if you got extra bucks and want a lapis swan you might be able to find one.

The staff are very friendly and helpfull.

When you enter the caves you have to duck a little because the entrance is very small and narrow however it gets wider further in. There are lights in the cave guiding you through. A little spooky but also beautiful. A nice walk lots of cool formations to see.

Have to admit I went to Blue John Cavern first, but was told unless another punter turns up then they couldn't do a tour for just one person! Walked down the hill to Treak Cliff Cavern and the guys there couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. It's a self guided tour. Downloaded the app onto my phone and a commentary is provided for each key (sign posted) part of the Cavern; a prompt to start the commentary on the app. An interesting tour, with loads of interesting info. Bonus was I had the entire Cavern to myself! Make sure you have sensible footwear (there are some slopes) and mind your head on the entrance tunnel - it's fairly low!

EPIC day at Treak Cliff - definitely recommend getting the Blue John Stone experience if you get the chance! The history behind these family-owned caves is fascinating, and once inside, there's plenty to see - stalagmites, stalactites, fossils, and the famous Blue John Stone is everywhere! But having the opportunity to actually go prospecting for rock was singularly unique. We were kitted up in caving gear, with buckets and tools, and went with our expert guide into parts of the mine not accessible to the public. Absolutely LOVED IT. It's not just small pieces of stone either - these are big pieces of rock! And plenty of mud????Afterwards, you learn to clean and polish and create some beautiful pieces of jewellery to take home. I can't give enough praise to the talented team who work at the cavern. We were there for nearly 7 hours and were so well looked after - we didn't want to go home! A local gem - 5 stars.

Wonderful caverns. You listen to a pre-recorded tour guide on an app as you go along - you go down at intervals so as not to disturb other groups/individuals. There's also a gift shop, a small museum section, and a cafe selling drinks and snacks.

Stopped in the free car park just below the entrance steps and made my way up. Visited here as part of a mini your including Blue John and Speedwell caverns.
After a reasonable climb to the entrance, I downloaded the app before paying for entrance at the shop.
The self guided tour was easy to follow and very informative. I had plenty of time to stop and look around as the caves were not busy at all during my visit.
Really interesting and well laid out. The tour took me about 30-40 minutes stopping at each point and listening to the audio guide.
The highlight is probably the stalactites and stalagmites. There is also a great view from the exit if the weather is clear.
It can be slippery under foot at times. There are hand rails for all the steps.

We done the self guided audio tour, which uses your own smartphone to guide your around the site. I would really recommend this tour, the audio guide is informative and the various features of the cavern are really worth seeing.

I love this place, the surrounding scenery is beautiful and the inside of the cavern is fabulous. Great value for money. The photos speak for themselves.

Fascinating place!
The important stuff first.. entry is timed, so maybe it's worth booking online, so you dont have to wait too long on busy days, we purchased tickets on arrival & only waited about 10 minutes. parking is free at the base of the hill. It's a steep climb uphill to the entrance - note there are no toilets when you get up there. Download the audio app, which will guide you through the various bits of the cave, it's clear & and easy to understand & doesn't waffle. Make sure you have good footwear as it wet inside & you may slip, but they have really good grippy strips on the floor & handrails ! There is a small kiosk to get drinks & snacks & and the shop is full of wonderful jewellery & and gifts, so do stop in.
Well, it's worth a visit if you enjoy caves & their history!
