We loved the food and venue.

The audio system seemed to be on the fritz, but really enjoyed the live music.

Personal attention to each table could have been improved as we had to find and wave down servers when we needed something. But, staff were all very nice and accommodating.

We had the house beverage package for brunch but were not impressed with the cocktails.

One of the best buffets we have been to in Abu Dhabi. No expense was spared with an abundance of prawns, lobster, oyster and a delicious selection of sushi. We tried to save some space for the fresh grills and many mains. As brits we were comforted to see roast beef, Turkey and chicken with all the trimmings. As it was an eid buffet the traditional fair was also there with the impressive ouzzi and um ali.

The deserts were impressive and the teens in our group loved the chocolate fountain and the vast array of mini deserts. The date pudding was rich and moreish and I had to have seconds.

The staff were also so attentive without being intrusive. Our waiters kamal and nazik were super helpful and chatty.
The manager Ibrahim circulated and ensured everyone was happy.

It was the perfect place for us to celebrate Eid with our family and friends. Would def go back for a special occasion and next time probably would skip breakfast so that we can actually try all the dishes.

Grills@Chill'O, up high on the podium level by the pool at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche is a place unlike any other in town.

Poolside setting, breathtaking views, amazing food and great service make it a very special place indeed.

We were there for the opening a few years ago at the very first brunch which was a BBQ brunch set around the pool and we simply fell in love with the place

Fast forward to 2023 and they have a new brunch, the superb & sophisticated Brunch Ensoleille aka Brunch in the Sun.

So every Saturday from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm guests get to relax, unwind and enjoy a spectacular International brunch buffet brimming with the freshest seafood, superb drinks, carvery, bbq, sushi, salads, rare cheese and oh, that dessert table

There is no other place in Abu Dhabi that can put on a show stopping dessert selection let along a dessert room like this, hats off to the team.

To make it more memorable the team from the Michelin Star, Silk and Spice is there serving some of their top sellers, the Tom Yum soup is to die for.

You get pool access, some amazing live music, a kids room with their own buffet and you might even get to meet the lady who's the face of the brunch on the picture advertising it, yes look around she's there smiling at you.

All told its an amazing deal, great food with some interesting stuff ranging from Arabic to Indian, Thai Japanese, Spanish, western and more and all this at a super affordable price.

It was a great afternoon loved it and will surely be back soon.

We stayed at Abu Dhabi Sofitel and dined at the chilli o grill restaurant. The manager Rakesh was amazing, the service was excellent and he was very accommodating and happy to have a chat with his customers, which is so nice to see. He created a great atmosphere at the restaurant and is an asset to the hotel.

Can’t imagine I finished the whole platter all by myself (should easily be enough for three or four meals ????). The lobster and shrimp are juicy. The fish is mostly tender. Tasty with or without sauce. (Thanks for the good memory on my last night in Abu Dhabi after the horrible grilled lamp chops at the Emirates Palace.) The chips are crispy. Just wish there were more vegetables on the side.

The only miss is probably the knafeh ordered by my friend (“too sweet, 2-3.5 stars). I can tell there is too much dough and too little cheese, and the cheese is not melty or stretch— trust me I’ve eaten a lot of good knafeh on the eastern Mediterranean coast. Beautiful presentation nonetheless.

We came here for lunch and ordered the mixed seafood and mix grilled meat - both were very good and fresh. Service was a bit busy today but they did very well especially Muzamel. Good deal with entertainer 2 for 1 deal - will be back. Highly recommended!

If you are a football fan, and want to cheer on your favourite teams on the big TV screens, head out to @sofitelabudhabicorniche today!! Their poolside restaurant on the 8th floor - Grills @ Chill'O' - is the best place to watch your game in Abu Dhabi and have some delivious Arabic & Mediterranean food too????⚽️ They have a new football menu and their indoor area is spacious and also have big screens!

Creative mixes & drinks, lovely food presentations, big screens, great weather and also table football and other games, world cup photo ops are all there for FULL ON ENTERTAINMENT!❤️

Not an ideal setting for suhour..its a poolside bar. The ambience is also very casual...pool n skyscraper view is pretty though. Servers are wearing shorts! The indoor seating area is not upto par of a 5star hotel...looks worse than a street cafeteria. The servers didnt know what they were supposed to serve, lacked customer service, kept bothering us again and again. Didnt give us serving spoons, toppled over glasses, fumbled with the menu book. Suhour menu was very limited. Drink options were only jallab and tamarhind. Kunafa that we requested was over. They didnt even give us our 2nd salad order! Only the biryani tasted good but the rice was still dry n hard. Looked like iftar buffet leftover! The lamb chops were too chewy and hard. No taste in any of the meat platter items except the long seekh kebab. The baklava, umm ali tasted good.

If you’re looking for an Iftar with wide variety of choices, “Grills @ Chill’O” in Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche has it; from different types of dates and dry fruits, Ramadan juices, mezze, salads, classic Arabic dishes, international favourites, fresh seafood, live BBQ and Shawarma station and desserts.

The food option is overflowing and they both have indoor and outdoor seating, and an Arabic corner too. They also have a live oud entertainment to elevate your dining experience in the most Arabian traditional way.

The quality of the food is also good, especially the grilled meat and the shawarma. The service is spot on, and it has relatively improved compared to my last Saturday Brunch experience. Yana was so kind to assist and welcome us upon our arrival.

Surely it’s one of the best place to create Ramadan memories with your friends and families.
