Lovely pub, went for Sunday lunch. Met by friendly staff there is comfortable seating inside and a large outside area. Weekday menu has a good selection so something for everyone, Sunday menu is traditional but also a good selection. We had the lamb, chicken and pork belly, all were very tasty, with a good selection of roasted and steamed vegetables. Would definitely recommend.

We were a bit dubious when we arrived in a noisy pub with two young children but they'd reserved a table for the eight of us and a dog and yes it was noisy to start but it settled down and the food was absolutely delicious. We were served at the table and the member of staff was accommodating, attentive and friendly. There were veggie, vegan and gluten free options and honestly we were so impressed. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We stopped here for a bite to eat on an evening whilst working in the area. We parked in the off road car park where there was ample space. We proceeded into the premises and found a table, on first impression we thought we weren't going to get any food as it looked like a drinking pub.

We approached the bar and asked if they served food and they did indeed so we proceeded to find a table and ordered our drinks and have a good look through the menu.

The choice on the menu was limited but in my experience establishments that have a smaller menu do it well rather than have a larger menu that's done poorly. The menu is angled towards BBQ (burgers, ribs, steaks and a few pub classics)

I ordered a burger and my colleague ordered the ribs and we shared a portion of onion rings, the food arrived in good time and was well presented. It was nice and the portion sizes were plenty and the price very reasonable.
The pub itself is clean and tidy, the staff friendly and helpful. There is also a good selection of wines, beers and spirits as well as soft drinks.

We had a family party at the Wellington Arms yesterday and we couldn't have been more impressed. Literally everyone at the party was raving about how good the food was, myself included. The staff were brilliant and couldn't be more accommodating to us. I would highly recommend if you're looking for a function room for a party ????

We went to watch the footie tonight and what an atmosphere. Really good food and company. The landlord was concerned about our little boy and all the swearing but we brought head phones with us so he couldn't hear. If we hadn't brought them he was willing to tell the others to calm down which was really sweet of him to offer but it wasn't necessary at all. We knew the environment and what to expect having been in hospitality most of our lives so we also have a duty to ensure our son couldn't hear the commotion .
Well done team Welly, quick service and all with a smile ???? Shame England didn't go through but have a fab Christmas!!!

Worst buffet I've ever seen! They charged my poor mum £360 for my Dad's wake. Nothing was ready when we arrived, food was terrible! Looked like it was straight out of Iceland! Had to wait ages for coffee and tea. my 75 year old mum sent 2 emails to tell them how upset she was with everything and 3 weeks later still no reply. Absolutely appalling business and customer service!

We felt the food prices where expensive compared to other pubs around. This said our pizza was very tasty even with minimal topping.
