Very disappointed with the Heritage Village. Small sandy area with a caged camel and horse. Small rustic shacks selling typical tourist fare, lots and lots of flies around. Small museum with old weapons, another exhibit with bygone trinkets. Car park was rammed with coaches of Japanese tourists which added to the parking chaos.
Not worth the trip to in my opinion.

A nice place to visit when in Abu Dhabi. So much history to see and a beautiful view of the water!

Beautiful set up with some traditional craft shops. Unfortunately the craft men were absolutely not interested in showing their craft. A half heartedly effort to keep. Knowledge of the tradition in UAE alive. I'd like to suggest to have an opportunity to buy coffeeas this is a beautiful ambience to take a little rest.

Difficult to rate this as it is a fake structure but helps to orientate visitors to Abu Dhabi if they have not already visited the Qasr Al Hosn fort or plan to go into the desert to a traditional tent camp

The heritage village is a prominent location that reflects the rich heritage of the United Arab Emirates in general and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi specifically. It has a lot of old shops, some farm animals, ponds, old homes that represent all geographical areas from the mountains to the heart of the desert. I advice my friends to pay visits to it and especially to celebrate the United Arab Emirates National Day.

Great window on culture with the opportunity to buy hand made goods. I could have spent more time just browsing and soaking up what it has to offer.
