Rude “security” guard (overweight white male) sitting at the entrance of the parking claiming that College Road is a private road and that no pictures can be taken. The road’s status is: highway maintainable at the public expense USRN: 13200338. Meaning it is not a private road. I don’t understand what was the need of him interacting with me and attempt to misinform me when me and couple of my friends were just walking down the road taking pictures for ourselves and had nothing to do with the Council Owned PUBLIC car park he’s working at.

Doesn't accept the new £1 coins!! No notes and no contactless option - how do you pay!? Noone carries £6 worth of 20ps!!

Don't waste your time. Only takes cash! No Ringgo, nothing! No wonder it was empty! "Stone age" would be an understatement

It is a cash only car park but very reasonable.
Excellent location for The Towner, theatres, Welcome Centre and the tennis.
