My wife and her friend got a taxi back on Saturday night. 2 mile journey, with a stop off that was *on route* along the way to drop her friend off. They were charged £17 in total!!!!! The man made them feel extremely uncomfortable. If you’re two women or a woman alone getting a taxi, prepare to get completely ripped off and made to feel very uncomfortable. AVOID!!!

Deserve 0 stars. Ordered a taxi in advance (3 hours prior) for 2pm so I could get a train at 20 past. Despite leaving plenty of room for a delay, the taxi service didn’t dispatch a driver until 2:15 which was 8 minutes away from my destination. Missed my train but cancelled the taxi and got an Uber instead an hour later. Nice one ABBA, great service.

If I could leave zero stars I would! Disgusting service and I will never use these again. An hour late to pick my children up from school. Every time I called the driver would be “5-10”minutes away”. One person on the accounts team hung up. After my children had been waiting for an hour we were told the booking had been cancelled after we’d already paid upfront. Not the first time things like this have happened with them but it will most certainly be the last as I will never use them again.

Called for a taxi as I have done 12 times previously, driver called to say he is 20 minutes away. 25 minutes later I called as he had not arrived to be told a driver is being assigned for me ( the driver meant to appear clearly got a better job) needless to say I ordered another taxi, in my hotel room I received a missed call immediately I ran out to get him to be told he is now on break! Unbelievable

Pre booked a taxi back from a wedding and they were over 40mins late leaving us stood outside in the dark and rain. Unacceptable.

*EDIT*
Abba cars responded promptly to the review I gave and emailed me directly to apologise and offer a refund for the journey. I was impressed by their response as it feels like they are making steps to try and improve their service.

First tried to order a lift around 1am on a Thursday morning, which is not a prime time for taxis I understand, but I did not expect to deal with app complications including but not limited to alerting me that a driver was outside when they weren’t… twice. Whoever was operating the phone at 01:31 on 20/04/23 was aggressive and unhelpful. Unless your journey is 1hr+ on foot save yourself the headache and walk yourself.

The call was automated, quite simple to use though I didn't get a confirmation text so I did ring and speak to someone to check but I was booked in already and the operator was helpful. The cab arrived on time after receiving a text to say they were on their way, driver was professional & friendly, overall great service

Do not use unless you have no other choice!!

Booked 2 taxis for Friday night via their automated booking system - as you can never get to speak to a human being!

The first taxi arrived with no problems and received updates by text.

The problems came for the return journey!! Pick up was at 22.15 and by 22.30 no taxi had arrived, and I'd heard nothing from Abba Cars, and when I called I got the automated service again which told me they were trying to find us a driver and this kept continuing and so we tried to get an Uber (we were not in an area where you would usually be able to get one) and we were very fortunate that there was one available so we got picked up 45 minutes after our original taxi had been booked for so at least we weren't left stranded.
