The front part of the cemetery is kept beautiful because it is on view from Cavendish Road and looks impressive.
The cremation plot with the small grave plots, at the back of the garden of rest is always in a terrible state. Grass clippings left on the lovely chippings and expensive headstones and curb stones. Which actually stick to the granite as it dries out.
The deceased persons flowers are trimmed along with the grass. And flower heads are left strewn on the floor! The grass isn't strimmed until its knee high. At one time the workers used to use the grass blowers to clear the grass cuttings away. But not anymore!
It's so disrespectful how the cremation area is left for relatives and friends of their loved ones to clear up! It's just so upsetting. ????

Usually well maintained. But grave ornaments and pots are often damaged by groundwork such as grass cutting. Currently no staff on site. The public toilets just outside the cemetery are now permanently closed so you need to plan well ahead if you might need such facilities.

I am bound to say that I like this place. It is peaceful and calm. Any staff I have met have always been respectful and friendly. It is welcoming. For me, it is very convenient & I like that.

Needs to be attended to ,appear to have no respect for the dead.It just needs a good clean .Since altered the road ways it's gone done hill grass always need cutting it's sad to see the lack of respect .When l go l always take a trowel to get the excessive grass that mower has missed on a regular basis ,it's has there is not enough Time allocated to the good staff to do a good job they do the best the can .

It's just a beautiful cemetery beautiful old graves and always nice to remember how many passed away I didn't know any of these people but they will always be thought of longer than they think sad but beautiful

Peaceful and pleasant surroundings final resting place for loved ones very sadly no longer with us

Nice place but council should remove some wild trees growing out of the few they say they don't remove them because family might of planted them but what about Christmas wreaths and flowers you can clearly see family wouldn't plant a tree like what's on a certain grave
